Hello ladies, Im new to real self and finally decided to take the plunge and undergo my own transformation. I cant decide whether i want the BBL or just the Lipo to slim what I already have as I've read how hard the recovery is for BBL. Im active in the military as well. I have narrowed it down to two doctors. Dr. Fisher and Dr. Omulepu. Any advice ladies?

Soo Ideally i want to book my appointment for the 16th of Nov and go to Keyla for care. I'm so excited and nervous! Not telling anymore family or friends about it. Don't need anymore of thier negativity. How long did you ladies spend in the RH? Don't know if I'll need to spend the whole 5 days or not. Really thinking of doing the first 3 in RH and then spending the last two in a hotel or Airbnb. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Xx

I am going in Nov 17th Hassan..I realize you were looking at Fisher or Omulepu..I would rather Fisher as he is more consistent..you already look great so I can only imagine your results..good luck!

Also please be careful at Vanity. I've heard so many bad things. The doctors are good but the staff can really ruin things.

Soo my sx is scheduled for the 16th of November officially and the closer it gets the more anxious and fearful I become. I have absolutely no support in this journey and its all becoming alot more expensive than expected as none of my family will come with me. I'm supposed to be excited and happy but now im jusy wondering if i made the wrong decision in making the deposit. I can always back out but then thats $500 down the drain and a body I'm still unsatisfied with. Everyone is always telling me just workout instead and im beginning to think maybe they are right but I really wanted this. Im so confused now:(

I agree with Azzzfor2015, follow your heart. These feelings are very typical and its called emotions, practically everyone goes through this, the what if's, am I choosing the right dr, what will my family and co-workers say, will my surgery offer me the results that I want. What you have to believe in is that you chose this for a reason, not to be concerned with others feelings but for your own personal and mental gratification. Good luck as you continue contemplating things, just know we all have gone through this in our journey.

Don't give up. You are going to look so great. Sometimes it's OK to do things on your own. I know it can be scary, especially when you have to travel so far, but it will be fine. Put on your big girl pants! We all knew it would not be easy. Think of it as just another hurdle for you to overcome and if you still feel like you need someone to go with you, find out from your friends and family when they will be available and switch dates. I know you were hoping for Nov., but so what if you have wait two or three months more. I can’t wait for my date to come, so I can get the body I want! Just focus on what you want and most importantly what you CAN do right now!

I know what you mean. Just make sure that all of your surroundings are clean and take your meds. I'm going to my mom's house for at least two nights, then home to the bf and kids (1 and 4). I told my bf, he'll have to sleep in the kids’ room or the living room or until all my incisions have closed up to be safe. I have also scheduled a checkup appointment with my PCP about a week after the sx. I think this should be a requirement and should be apart of the follow-up treatment.
