So, i am about two months post op. When i first got this surgery, I was excited and kind of expecting to get fantastic results... but now i feel like i made a huge mistake.
Before surgery I was skinny, and very fit. I expressed my frustration about having a small butt, and having extra skin on my stomach from having a child (Dr. Salz promised me that with a tummy tuck I would lose the extra skin and my abs would be more noticeable) so i was told to gain weight.
My last picture, from my last post, shows the weight that i gained for the surgery, in which compared to now... i look much bigger. I was wondering if from the pictures post op is swelling? Many people told me i am just swollen, while many other people tell me they have not seen this kind of swelling after a tummy tuck. I would like to mention, i do not have a thyroid and that may be the case for the extra swelling, however, i was never told that not having a thyroid would effect my results until after the surgery. At this point, I have heard so many different explanations that I am now finally posting on here to get advise from other women.
My boobs are another concern to me, as one looks higher than the other, and i feel it is out of place. I expressed my concerns with doctor salz and he told me it is normal, and that i was being dramatic. Im trying to remain positive, but i do believe something is wrong with them.
my butt situation, not sure what to say. I am told this is also normal, and it is still swollen. Not sure if its because i am older and going through stages much differentely and healing slower but would like some advise on what to do or thoughts. I posted the pictures i took recently, and pictures of me a few months before having surgery.
