I wish you all the best! I actually ended up having mine 18 days ago. I'm now home from Florida and continuing my post op recuperation. You are going to love Dr M and his staff. They are all SOOOO amazing! Rest assured you are going to be in amazing hands :)

Hello do you think you can send me before and after pics? My surgery is 14 days away..... Ahhh im so nervous

I will be returning to work 10 days after surgery. Will I still be leaking?

You may be lucky enough to not be. They say the drains can normally be removed somewhere between 7 to 10 days. But in my case that didn't happen. My right drain wouldn't stop draining. I was a siv. Lol It wasn't till day 12 that I had my large two drains removed.

Thank you! I'm not sure how far out he is booked but Feb 2014 would work best because I can take more time off work then. Also I have to save up :) Did he ask you how large you wanted to go?

Oh thats smart too! Gives you a chance to enjoy the summer and the holidays....and then have more then enough time to heal up before spring :) He asked me to tell him and show him exactly what I wanted and what I didn't like about my shape. I came into my consult with a ton of pics I printed off the net and even a fitness magazine. LoL. He's very honest as well. If he can't achieve something he will let you know. One small request out of the gazillion I had....Lol....couldn't be done just because of my genetic predisposition....other than that he gave me exactly what I asked for and I'm ecstatic with the way I'm looking so far.

Hi Mami! Thank you so much. I weighed 165 pds and I'm 5'6" . I hate to say it but I never asked how many cc's he put in. All I stressed is that I wanted a very shapely athletic look. I was so excited about the final result that I didn't ask about that. Lol. Let me see if I can find out. :)

Prior to my procedure I only chatted with one other girl who had seen Dr Mendieta. I did a lot of research on my own and in the end felt he was THE one. Especially when it came to shaping my body the way I desired it. The conclusion I came to about him not being on here more is because I think he is usually more costly than a lot of the other surgeons. But, I'm of the school of thought....'what you pay for is what you get.' I did have to fly into Florida to see him and I stayed at the Ritz. Which is less than a 5 minute drive to his office. It's so close and you get a discount on your stay if you are a patient of Dr Mendietas. They were so wonderful at the hotel as well. They made my stay incredibly comfortable and there wasn't anything that I wanted or needed that they didn't get for me. My stay there was 14 days. I ended up staying 4 days longer then expected because I was still draining a bit too much from one of my drains. But it worked out well in the end because I was in even better shape by then for the flight home. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to message on here or send me a private message.
