BBL: Giving Myself the 30-year-old Treatment with Blinski - Miami, FL

Hello RealSelf and aspiring gals,
I am embarking on my new journey to getting a Brazilian butt lift by Dr.Blinski, and I am booked for May 9th, 2017. I am 5'7 and weigh 145 lbs.
I've always been a thin girl with a curvier behind, so I am not unfortunate when it comes to my assets. The unfortunate part is that I have all of my curves in the wrong places. My "muffin top" and "saddle bags" detract from my backside, and I would like to put the right things in the right places! I chose Dr. Blinski after a couple years of research and this whole BBL idea swirling around in my head. Living in Los Angeles, I have availability to many great doctors, who may I add, are extremely overpriced. I had a breast augmentation back in 2005 from a very reputable doctor in Newport Beach who was very reasonably priced. My breasts have been one of my best investments yet, even after eleven years (school was my first). I understand that good quality does not necessarily mean you have to spend more when it comes to plastic surgery; good quality comes from research and seeing real results from real people. The pictures you see in the doctor's office shouldn't persuade your decision; reading the real life experiences should. I am a firm believer of shopping around and doing research.
Anyway, the booking process itself was pretty simple. I did call Blinski's office a couple times before I finally got ahold of someone, but once I did it was all good from there. I booked my surgery in August of 2016 for their next availability which was May 9, 2017. The deposit to book the date was $900; The total surgery cost being $6,200. I live in California, so I'm planning to make the journey to Miami. Still debating on staying in a hotel with family or going the recovery home route. I have no clue yet, but I'm sure I'll be okay either way. To be honest, I haven't done much planning besides booking my procedure. I'm saving all that for the beginning of the new year. One thing I did do is order a couple of Spanx garments on eBay and set savings aside for surgery costs. I'll keep all you informed as I take my steps in this journey.
