I have been researching this procedure since 2009. Since discovering this site I have been on here on a daily basis. I am addicted. I have been back and forth between Dr. Mendieta, Dr. Salama and Dr. Markmann. I have decided to go with my gut on this one and pray for a good outcome.
I am scheduling surgery in May of 2013. I am traveling from out of state. I am 5' 7'' and currently weigh approx. 125 pounds. I have been told that I need to gain 15-20 pounds to be a good candadate. I do not desire a huge butt, just hoping for a nice shape. I dislike the thought of gaining weight. I do not like feeling bloated/fat. I will add a few photo's in the near future.

Same here! I found Dr Mendieta three years ago when I was researching BBL.
He told me to gain at least 20 pounds!
He is very very expensive... I could never afford his quote of $12k
Now I have gained just over 11 pounds but still saving and feeling miserably FAT :-(

I was quoted $9850. I recently scheduled with him. The next few months are going to be difficult. I feel really miserable when I weigh more than I would like. When are you planning on scheduling surgery? Anytime soon?

Well I was hoping in Feb but now I must save up a lot more because I Aldo want a Rhynoplasty.
I nearly booked with Longivita but they keep harassing me and the Surgeon I consulted with on Skype is not a Specialist. I'm not convinced :-(

It's official......I have put down my deposit to secure my surgery date of May 29th. I have been slowly gaining weight and haven't been exercising. I feel very unhealthy and am ready to get this over with. I know my surgery date will be here before I know it. I am going to start purchasing necessary items for surgery so I have that out of the way well in advance.

Any recommendations for healthy weight gain?? I've been making protein shakes late at night right before bed in hopes of that packing on the pounds.....ugh! I do not like how that sounds. I would love to hear what has worked for any of you that have had to gain weight for this procedure. Thanks ladies!!!!

Hi Glamour, thank you !!!! I have researched this a bit.......it seems that Dr.Aslani is more or less the only surgeon in Europe who is offering "real" bbl surgery with 1000cc or more ?
His results look great, but it is till not "around the corner" for me....however, two hours flight should be bearable
