yes I did and he was not understanding at all and told me to gain 10lbs but before surgery didn't advise me to gain anything. if I gain 10lbs I'll be overweight it's so disappointing and very depressing. he even mentioned that it could be genetic. he's horrible

wow it's so depressing you're not alone and no one understands my frustration and makes it worst the dr is not helpful at all. he was saying it's my genetics like shut up and I even went to other dr and they said I didn't have enough fat and he didn't tell me that. it's so depressing I cry almost every week. I am going to the gym no cardio just weight lifting

Hi my surgery is not until 10/18 and OK yea I'm not buying any boards it seems everyone else but Dr Miami patients wear them!

I wish they at least told us that we needed a faja after the first week so that we can bring one with us because I am planning to be in Miami for two weeks and where will I go and buy a faja there in Miami

Me too. I feel weird not bringing a faja or boards for the first week of recovery like I'm not well prepared

It went well, i am one day post op. Pain level waking up was 7 and i was cold for like 5 minutes. I also got 2 units of blood bcause my period is due today and he said i was at borderline hemoglobin 12.2 and i lost quick a lot of blood. I bought my faja at this store call " faja y mas" in miami they have several location. I paid $130. How many days post op are you?

Yes I saw yours. Amazing!! You look bomb girl he did his thing. My surgery is October 19 it got rescheduled due to Irma. I'm so nervous. But we need to be contact so you can give me tips and see if I got everything ready. I need to buy a faja for my second week since he doesn't want us to wear one the first week. I will be staying at a recovery home. Did you?

So far my recover has been awesome. Yesterday i drain a lot from my jp, like 700 ml , today i only drain 300ml, and less bloody. My pain level is good as I am taking my Percocet every 4hrs . I think tomorrow i will start taking them every 6hrs. I have swelling. The hardest part is sleeping, and getting out of bed. I did not stay at a recovery house. I am staying at one of the hotel near his office that he recommends, and i got a CNA from his office. $200 a day but she stays with you 24/7 , she will pick u up from sx and take u to the hotel. Its only mandatory for 48hrs to have a certified caregiver, so tomorrow i will checking out of the hotel and going home. I only got the CNA for 2 days. She is very good. Dr miami sent over a caretaker this morning to help me shower, and take post op pictures. I have my follow up appt on tueday at 1pm and that is when i will remove my drains. Ive been sleeping on my side, alternating. I have not sat on my butt, except for when i was leaving the clinic. At home i bought a folding mattress i got from amazon and cut a whole in it so i can sleep on my back. I will post pic when i go home. I also got a beach chair that i cut a whole in the seat. I ask for a lot of projection so i hope my fat stays. Well i know not all survive. You can ask me anything as i go along my recover

Ok I love 2 hours away from Miami so I'll be staying in a recovery home for a week. Should I buy a beach chair? I need a lot of projection as well! Biggest fear is all the fat dying out :( I have a recliner chair at home. So my plan is to leave a week after my surgery when the drains are taken out. I'm glad you're is going super well are you wearing a night gown? How did you go in the day of the surgery I know they ask for something with buttons?

i havent used the beach chair so i think u should be good without it. i bought a dress on amazon with bottom in front for post procedure. i am currently wearing night gowns like large tshirt from walmart. the urinal is a most. i dont remember if i mention that i got 2 units of blood. my hgb was 12.2 pre sx.

No boards. Yes i paid xtra for the blood. But i am happy i did bcause first day i drain a lot from my drains and i didnt felt weak. My butt is hard but some parts are getting soft. My back dont have much feeling. Your recovery should be good since u are not having tummy tuck. The TT is what is more uncomfortable since u cant stand straight or pull on the incision. Do u know how do i post pic to this thread? Or i have to post it to my review thread

Ok yes. I'm looking forward to pay for the $1,000 so I can have a good recovery. And thank you so much for speaking positivity on my recovery. I'm nervous that my but won't be as big as I want it to be or the fat will die out:( and that my boobs will be too big or not too big it's a mixed of emotions and yes you just have to post a new thread on your current review. And it will update on the time line. I'll be staying at a recovery home that the Dr recommend Elite nursing.

Oh k. I cant wait to get my drains out. Today i felt like i wanted to have a bowel movement but false alarm. I am hoping my butt stay also. I think he only put 1,100 cc in each cheek. I would have like more but supposely it was coming out

I want to measure my butt and waist to see my stats. My butt seems smaller today since my swelling is going down. I know they said the fluffing start at 2-3 weeks and the butt gets bigger
