I was motivated to See Dr. Mel T. Ortega after seeing a girl on realself post her review. Her body shape was similar to mine and I was really shocked at how amazing she looked afterwards.
The place is called Spectrum Aesthetics and it is located in Coral Gables, Miami area and it was in a nice plastic surgery center. It looks very clean and the staff are Amazing! My coordinator was Karla, and my assistant who helped with every aspect was Jenny. They are both great and made me feel like family.
I would totally recommend this place. I had surgery with two other friends of mine so we are all healing together right now. I had a Brazilian Butt Lift and the areas Dr. Ortega had lipo are my arms, entire back, abdomen, chin, and inner thighs. I am so swollen but I can already see my shape coming through. My bum is HUGE! I can't wait for it to drop and fluff.

My swelling is still there, but i can see the shape much better now.

BBL Post Op - Day 4
I have more swelling than before. Maybe because I have been self massaging. I am not taking any pain killers because the pain is tolerable. Level 2/10 Pain Scale and sleeping is getting better.
I am currently on a Slim Fast Diet with one balanced meal because I just don't want to order food or go out too much. It gets too tiring. Miami heat is humid and disgusting.
SWELLING in abdomen, it looks bigger than before but I am not stressing. I'm confident it will go away. I am talking about major swelling!
*Wishing I had more Hip projection, but I am still happy with my results.

I looove ur transformation hun! The swelling is normal though right? Are u getting any massages at all? Have your sites been leaking much? Are you drinking lots of fluids to pee it all out? Low sodium diet? Then even if u are doing everything right its still to early to tell...

Thank you!!!! I am on a slim fast diet, low sodium and I am drinking so much water! It working great. Yes it is too early to tell, but so far so good!!! I can't wait until I can workout too!

Did you change garments to a butt in? Was that recommended by Dr. O? Also, did your package include 14 or 12 areas of lipo...I want all the areas you had done too but I have the 12 package...Thanks! He must have taken out a lot of ccs.

I had 12 areas of Lipo. I got the home care for a few days but I ended up not doing it. Dr. O didn't approve it yet, but its the same garment my friend had on. Her and I went the same week and we both got different garments. So I am not sure if they serve different purposes. I am wearing TWO at a time. One for smoothing and the other for tightening. It also helps keep the pain to a minimum.

He also said he put OVER 1000 ccs in each butt. So I assume there could have been more.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if u r overcompressing by wearing two. I read that too much compression is actually bad for u...could that be why your more swollen then before.

You look really good. You won't be able to see final results for months to come. Just be patient with your body as it transforms! Happy healing!

Thank you I can't wait. I know it is too early to tell or see any results but hopefully with a healthier lifestyle things would just get better from here.
