WORTH IT$5,000
August 26, 2016 I had my BBL with Dr Fisher. All I can say is he did an awesome job on this body. I started 5'4 and 120lb in January and gained almost 30lbs by May. I had my surgery at Vanity. Ana, my preop coordinator was great. She always returned my calls and emails promptly. I know there were some really negative reviews about Vanity, but I had no problems from the moment I made my deposit and final payment. When I arrived to the office they took me straight back, took pictures, and had me sign paperwork. Dr Fisher came in, and gave me very detailed instructions about what to expect, and the risks involved with this procedure. He was warm, friendly, and definitely gave me the reassurance that I was in good hands.
Ok...now the real deal. When I woke up from surgery I was in a tremendous amount of pain. This is coming from someone who was in labor for 27 hours with no drugs. I have a very high pain threshold. However, the pain in combination with how drained of energy you feel when you first wake up, will have you feeling like you want to pass out. So, the nurses get me into a wheelchair and take me out the back door where my ride was waiting. I'm staying at Joyful Recovery house, and let me tell you guys Joy is wonderful. Very patient, understanding, and took good care of me from the moment I met her. The rest of my first night was a blur because all I wanted to do was sleep! She helped me to the bathroom and to bed, and that was it! Lights out. I woke up around 7am, and had enough strength to take myself to the bathroom. That was the first time I caught a glimpse of my new body. Later that day I had my first post op appointment, came back to Joys and was allowed to shower. Here are the pics I took as well as my before pics.

Thank u for sharing I originally wanted to go to Dr. Fisher but see so many negative results about vanity it scares me off so it's actually good to hear that you had a good experience and your curves are amazing please keep up update ... How did you feel the week after surgery?

Thank you so much! Yes, He was great! He took his time with me, and explained everything in detail. The staff at Vanity was nice, and very professional. My recovery isn't bad. The hardest part right now is the stiffness. Once you're up moving around a day or two after surgery, it's not so bad. I have a minimal amount of pain and I'm 3 days post-op. I only have to take my pain meds at the end of the night after I've been up all day. I'm loving my results more and more every day. Pictures don't do it justice. I will keep posting!

Also quick question did they check your CBC before releasing you

No they don't. However, I did a lot of research before choosing him, and I don't know of any surgeon who will check your Hemoglobin and hematocrit immediately following an elective procedure. However Dr Fidher does go in detail about how you will feel immediately after surgery, and what to expect as far as blood loss, and what are the signs that you should go to the emergency room. As a nurse for over 10 years, I was confident in what he was he explained.

August 30, 2016
Thanks the coordinator just told me earlier today they do check your levels am just worried because i have been known to be anemic before and usually i get very sick around my menstrual cycle but hopefully all comes out well.

I understand. I have severe anemia as well. I can recommend an excellent supplement I've been taking pre and post op. I actually had my surgery postponed twice due to low hemoglobin. Two months ago it was 10.1 and I made it to 12.0 2 weeks before my surgery.
August 30, 2016
Well nevermind that i just got my results and surprising my levels came in at 12.5

Did you get the cell saver?
August 30, 2016
The what am sorry?
User Avatar
August 30, 2016
No I didn't get the cell saver, but it was offered to me. I chose not to only because I know my own body, and felt it wouldn't be necessary. I've had several surgeries in my life, so I knew my body would bounce back with very little downtime. I was up pretty much taking care of myself the morning after surgery. Some others would probably benefit tremendously from Cell saver. Everyone is different.

Cell saver is when they give you your own blood back. $500.00

I love your results and I'm wishing you a speedy recovery. My question is how did you gain so much weight so fast? I'm 5'5" 130lbs and gaining weight is very hard for me.

Thank you so muck sweetheart. I understand! It was hard but I ate LOTS of starch. Things like potatoes, rice, and peanut butter products. I started looking at the fat content on everything I ate. I won't say I did it a healthy way. I lived on Mc Donald's French fries, and peanut butter cookies. I still ate healthy things, but I made sure I didn't miss a day without some kind of high fat food. I looked up high calorie recipes too. I wouldn't advise anyone to do it the way I did, but it certainly worked for me.
August 30, 2016
Did he explain at all
How he injects the fat so as to avoid veins and fat
emboli ? I believe he goes under the muscle ???
Nervous about that! Hope you can answer!!!
User Avatar
August 30, 2016
It was explained to me that They have to go into the muscle. That's where the new fat will get its blood supply. If they only injected directly under the skin the new fat would die, and also look less appealing. He's careful about where he places the fat when injecting it. There is always a risk of embolism with any procedure, but it minimalized by being aware of human anatomy. Veins and arteries are located in pretty much the same places on every human being.

Thank you. I figured as much, was hoping he would give some magic answer that would take all my fears away.
Lol. I know he knows what he's doing though , based on his record.

I've been getting around pretty good since my second day post op. My biggest issue is the swelling that comes if I do a little too much activity. Oh, and the stiffness you get when you wake up from sleeping is terrible.

I'm not sure about medical credit loans with bad credit. Maybe if you look online you might find something. It didn't hurt to try. Believe me, I understand the struggle of wanting this done so bad, and having bad credit. I was fortunate enough to have my significant other pay for mine. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help sweetheart.
