My 12 mths of research to find the right doctor to do my Brazilian butt lift took me throughout Miami, only to have found Dr Blinski & his great staff, who I will always be indebted to!
AS I laid recovering from my surgery a week ago, I kept saying to myself, I need to tell the world about my experience, only because I know a lot of women who really want to have the BBL done.
In two hrs my body was transformed from a stocky short woman to an hourglass figure! But before I tell u the good stuff, I must say it was a scary personal journey for me because even though I yearned for a beautiful figure, I was scared of surgery.
I had visited two doctors before Dr Blinski. My first consultation was with a doctor on Coral Way. A beautiful facility, but his staff didn't speak English (the cost was $5000), and after much research I realized he was not board certified.
I went to another popular doctor mere meters away from Dr Blinski's office, he seemed really into BBL's but only had 6 yrs experience....worse yet, his staff wasn't as welcoming. What really turned me off about this second consultation was his arrogant secretary who told me I could pay every wk, but if my blood work came back and it was not good enough for surgery, I would not get my $9200 back.
My third and final consultation came in June of 2014 when I met Dr Blinski and his staff. From the get go I felt I had found a special place.
Firstly, if I was going to go under general anesthetic, it better be with a board certified surgeon who has 30 plus yrs of experience under his belt!!!!!!!!!
I had my surgery on December 19th (im now recovering at home). Two days before the surgery I almost chicken out. Well...that was until Ester called and gave me her personal number as well as Dr Blinski's. She walked me through everything for a final time. Her voice was so soothing and reassuring that I got all pumped for my surgery..
My husband and best friend went with me that morning...they were nervous. What.
was beautiful is that the anesthesiologist (Ross), Ester, Michelle and Gene kept updating my family of my progress every 15 mins. I really feel emotional writing about my experience, because I could not have put my life in better hands. I was pampered like a baby from day one when I first met Jakie (office manager) who introduced me to Dr Bilinki.
The nurse who took care of me in the recovery room was the best.....I felt like a baby being held by a mother. I kept telling her I felt nauseous, I wanted some tea, she gave me the necessary meds and held me, she played with my face and kept passing her tiny hands over my hair.
DR Blinski kept saying, " if you don't feel well, I will see you every day till u feel better, if I have to come in on Christmas day I would."
My procedure cost $8000. I made a down payment of $500 in the summer to lock in the date for the procedure and paid off everything ten days before.
Ok, Ok...surgery is not that all cherry....for the first four days I was nauseous...not really in pain... jus nauseous. But when I felt strong, I got off the bed and looked at body and felt happy. Im a very independent woman, I don't suffer from low self esteem. I'm a professional from the Caribbean who now live in Miami taking care of my husband. All my life I wanted a butt because I had none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My friends and family keep looking at my body and they are in utter shock. yes, im swollen, but they now call Dr Blinski then master craftsman! LOL.
Now, I will undergo several massages.
I love walking, but for the entire year I started walking lightly and I stopped lifting light weights to harvest my fat for this procedure....now I plan to tone up and go back to my grill meats and salads. I don't look like a Victoria secret model, I look like a healthy version of an average active Miami woman!
