So I'm scheduled to have my bbl in a little over a week. I'm nervous and anxious at the same time. I had a BBL before, 5 years ago and needless to say I wasn't satisfied at all. I didn't do much research on the doctor to see what he specialized in. It definitely wasn't BBL's. At the time I weighed about 150-155 at 5'2, I had minimal fat in my love handles, back and bra roll. I told the doctor put every oz. of fat taking out into my butt, however he didn't listen he only put 500 cc's in each cheek and some of the fat reabsorbed. My back bra roll was still the same and I was out of $6500. After stalking different websites I came across Dr. Osak whom I was scheduled to do surgery with, until he had a few issues with lawsuits and his license so I had to change surgeons. I asked my coordinator who could give me the projection and fullness that I was looking for and she suggested Ghurani. So my journey begins. I am currently at 178, down from 188 and I am ready. My blood work is cleared, flight and hotel booked and I am ready to go. Wish me luck dolls... I will try my best to post pre and post op pics.

So I had my surgery on 02/23. I was told to come in at 6:30am. but didn't go into surgery until around 11:00am. I remember being wheeled to my car around 5pm. I was so cold when I came out that I was shaking all over. The pain started to hit me immediately so I took my vicodin and nausea medicine asap. I didn't choose a recovery house because my two sons and husband came down with me. What I will say is if you have to fly make sure you stay at least 6 days. I made a big mistake by having surgery on Thursday and flying out on Saturday. I couldn't get my flight changed unless I paid an extra $800. So I left today anyways. The flight was really rough I was walking around like an old granny in pain. But back to the surgery when I came I out my butt was humongous and everyone knew it was the work of Ghurani. The first 2 days will be really bloody if you can make sure you have 2 faja that fit. I had bought 2 but I am so swollen that I canthink even fit them. I only fit the one they gave me. So needless to say I had to wash it and I didn't have one on for a while. Day 1 after surgery you will go back for drainage and pictures. After that first drainage you will be leaking every where and the pain is back on 10. I haven't been able to take pics yet but I will.

Yes 8 days will be good. I left way too early and swoll front the flight.

Hey you look great! Can I ask what hotel did you stay at? I am going with my mom and sister so I don't need a recovery house but Idk where to even start looking for a hotel close by! Please please help me!! Haha

I stayed at the Doral Inn it is about 15 mins from spectrum. It's not an upscale hotel but it was just what I needed. It has a kitchen with a stove and fridge 2 beds and a pull out couch. It's was very quiet considering it's kind of close to the airport. It's affordable and secluded.

Thank you so much that was so helpful you've been the only one that has replayed!!! can ask you a few more questions did you take a taxi to spectrum or did u guys rent a car? And another question is what is the max BMI for ghurani ?

You're welcome, I rented a car through booked.com it was super cheap picked it up at the airport. So when I booked with Ghurani I was told my bmi should be around 32 or 31. But when I filled out the paperwork at Spectrum the bmi requirements was 34.

OH my! Yes, you are super swollen. How is the pain on a scale of 1-10? Did you purchase another faja?

The pain was like on 10 day 1 and 2. I purchased another faja but it was too small because of swelling so I'm going to exchange it.

I hear ya. The pain will subside...in time. Taking the pain meds on time or a little before time is crucial. Otherwise the pain will flood in like a mutha LOL
The faja is the X factor because there is no real way of knowing the size we will be until post surgery. I think I'm just going to purchase two from the surgery center. As the swelling goes down, I'll purchase the other fajas at that time...

Yes purchasing another faja from the center is a good idea cause you will need to change it and continously have one on.
