30th Bday Present to Myself...BBL

I've always wanted a larger butt, which doesn't run in my family, to match my boobs. I finally decided to treat myself and have a BBL done as part of an upcoming 30th bday present and celebration of receiving my Masters this year! I'm excited but also nervous especially since the name of the doctor's office keeps changing (Eres to Imagenes to Jolie Plastic Surgery). I'm also nervous because I'm an out-of-town patient. I don't feel like I've fully prepared myself for this as far as having everything I need to take with me to Miami.

These are my before photos I sent in to the surgical coordinator when I first paid for the procedure with Dr. Hasan in April. I'm so short and chunky so I had to lose weight to meet the 30 or below BMI requirements. I'm down to 161 now (not in these photos though). When I went to get labs done, I was told that my height was 5'2 1/2", but I've always thought I was just 5'1 lol...at 5'2, I've technically already met my weight loss requirement, but I'm still kind of nervous about that. Don't judge my before pics y'all!

So I finally made it to Miami after having so many issues with getting here. The weather was bad last night so my flight here got cancelled after being delayed for two hours. Then I had to catch a 5:25am flight this morning that wasn't a nonstop like my original flight. I got here and went straight to the office for my pre-op appointment. I ended up going to two wrong offices before I finally found the right one!!! Ughhhhh!!!

So when I get there, it's extremely packed. I see other girls there for their post-op appointments with their drains visible, and I got nervous. :-/

I tried on my garment (faja) and finally got called to the back to get weighed and measured (height). Turns out I gained four pounds since I had been home visiting my family in SC the week before!!!! I still make the cut as far as Dr. Hasan's BMI requirement is concerned, but I can't gain a single pound. Also, I found out that a level of something was too high in my liver like I'd been drinking! I haven't had a drink in over a month!! So they redid some bloodwork (CMP test) and moved my surgery back to Friday. I'm supposed to get the lab results tomorrow for the bloodwork they did today so wish me luck that all things are well!!
