Here we go, originally I was only looking to get lipsocution to my abdomen and love handles. I had a previous liposuction in august 2013, and was not satisfied completely with the work in my love handles. I know someone who had a BBL from Dr. Mendieta, and her life changed, and I witness first hand how good of a job he did on her lipo, and new booty so I was confident in his abilities to do my lipo correct.
I live out of state, so when I contacted Dr. Mendieta, i requested an online consultation, and his office asked for me to send pictures. After taking the pictures, I realized how saggy my butt looked lol. It made me start thinking about the fat transfer. I asked for a quote, and it was only about $1500 more for the BBL/fat transfer instead of just the lipo. I decided to go this route to achieve the lean look with a masculine atheltic booty to compliment.
I will say, I am not the nervous just due to the fact that my sister went through the process, I am more concerned of going back to work quickly. I work a office job, and during my previous lipo, I remember going back to work after four days with no problem. I hear this is a bit longer of a healing process, but I plan to take maybe 6 days and work through the pain (god willing).
I found some butts on the internet that I think are manly athletic looking, and I sent them into Dr. Mendieta, we will discuss this thursday during our skype consultation.
I decided to log all this information on here, because there is not much information about men getting the fat transfer, and I want to be able to help another man out there considering going through the process, so I will dish out as much info as I can through this process. I am about 5 weeks away from surgery.
note on the price I was charged a bit more due to having a previous lipo, and something about scar tissue can make it harder when getting lipo the second time..I gave zero f*cks about the extra charge due to me being tired of working out off and on, and never reaching my goals. I am ready for this change man.
