Day 5 post bbl
Squeezing the fluid out “day 3”
Lymphatic message (she finished the message and I needed to move my body up “day3”
I was having extreme shortness of breath. I was told it was normal and to keep my faja and boards on so I can heal. But I had to take off my front and side abs board and I am now just wearing 4 pieces of foam(back, front and sides) and I feel so much better. I still have tight compression and I can now bend and move so much better. I was so tight with the boards that I couldn’t even bend over to get up and down from laying down. I had an irritated incision on my but cause it was rubbing on my garmet with every step I took so my husband cleans it, puts antibiotic ointment and gauze with tape a few times a day and it looks and feels so much better. I also got burns(blisters) on my sides so I put desitin butt cream on it a few times a day. You can see I have swelling still but I am healing so good.
3days post bbl
Today I will like to share how my first night went. I did not have the greatest first day. Waiting for my surgery I was told that i had to pay $125 for the cell saver(which I asked my coordinator if I would have to bring money for anything else but she said to just bring robes, slippers and a bag). I wish I would have known about it before because that was the money I bring for food, gas, a faja and anything that I would need. They would not allow me to make payments or do my surgery without paying for that so we have just a few dollars left thankfully I have not been hungry or needed to go to the store. But it really did bother me that I was not able to pay for it later. Also I was forced to wake up after surgery. I was in so much pain and I couldn’t breath and the nurse was getting me up and telling me I need to go now cause I was done. She got me up so fast that I felt like I was going to die from not being able to breath, move, my head felt like it was going to explode. She sat me in a wheel chair and she kept telling me to open my eyes while she was forcing another patient to get up. She rolled me to downstairs in the parking where my husband was and got me up as fast as she could and she didn’t even give my husband any information on what’s to expect once we leave. She just said get up, walk and open your eyes. Since she was doing all that I thought that I was dying and needing to get up and move around. So once we got to the hotel I stood up and I was shaking and choking on myself cause I could not catch my breath and my husband was trying to hold me up. But I stood next to the car leaning forward and focusing on breathing I started to feel better. It was then I realized I was going way to faxed and I should have been in the Recovery room still waking up and moving like a sloth. So I do with I had a different nurse to take care of me and the other lady that was in the room but thank god I made it. I am feeling so much better the next morning.
Surgery yesterday
Yesterday I had my bbl procedure. To be honest I was so scared. The wait was so long and it was very nervrecking. But as soon as met with the beautiful dowbak I felt so much better. I have a few photos she sent me of my before and after in the OR and once I start feeling better I will post and share more. I do have my husband here with me and he has taking such good care of me and help me so much I am so thankful I have him.
