So my surgery date is officially set for the 5th...

So my surgery date is officially set for the 5th of Jan, 2016. I am super excited and the nerves haven't hit me yet at all.. I put a 1000$ sec deposit down to secure my date and price. I have not bought anything or even thought about the small stuff yet. I am deciding whether to use their recovery room or if its cheaper to just find my own place to stay and rental car??? What do you guys recommend to do in Miami. I am coming from AZ so I dont know my way around or anything and I will be there with my sister. Does anyone have any reviews on the recovery home for Miami Cosmetics?? Also, my coordinator has been amazing and gets back to me within that working day, mostly within the hour!! I was a little nervous after reading reviews but so far so good!
Also, I am 5'3" is and I weigh 130 lbs. I am pretty thin and want the best results so I want to know how much weight you guys think i should gain in order to get the best results!!!
Any advice will help!!!

Congrats on your decision and Welcome! 5-8 lbs is good...but Ive seen him work wonders on even the smallest frames and produce awesome results. I have a post listing the RH...and a few other dolls have too. lm not staying in one but you can follow up with a phone call. Read as much as you can on rs you'll find your answer. Best wishes.

Im scheduling my apointment with him soon, They advised me to get my BMI to 30% im at 30.9% I think he works well with thicker girls, but i get jealous of the tiny girls results and having to gain weight for the surgery! lucky girl!
Take protien shakes before bed time to help you put on some mass. Ask your corrdinator what BMI is best for your hieght and go from there. Good luck to you, see you in January! I wont be there on the 5th, that my mothers b-day she may come with me, but i may be there right after you!

Need advice on Recovery home!?!?!
So i have been researching alot and it seems to be cheaper to rent an apartment or a town house for a week and rent a car rather than pay 1500$ for the recovery home?! I am debating if the recovery home is more money because it is worth it?! Has anyone had any experience with this and what the best way to stay a week in miami! Also, I am in the Marine Corps and only can take about three weeks of leave (including my surgery week). How long does it normally take to recover?! Should three weeks after surgery be enough time?

I think 3 weeks is good. If I didnt have family in Miami I would have rented and hired a nurse for first two days be done with it. Bring a friend along for the ride as well.

It is waaaaayyy cheaper to rent a place off airbnb or homeaway. From all the reviews I read, the best thing about the recovery homes is having someone to do little things for you, cook, help you eat, help you on and off with your garment, etc. But if you're bringing someone to do all those things then I think you should be fine. My husband and I are going together, we're both having procedures done. We're just bringing a thermometer - to keep tabs and make sure we're not getting an elevated temperature - and a BP cuff to make sure the BP doesn't get dangerously low or high. First sign of anything wrong and we're off to the hospital to make sure (as our insurance covers hospital stays). But do what makes you feel comfortable! It's gonna be a fairly difficult first week or so, from what I've read, so just do whatever feels right so you don't have any added stress. :D

Im thinkin of booking bella donna, i dont want to worry my boyfriend or mother with the stress of my pain and blood everywhere. The massages are included witht he price, which i think is reasonable.

66 days left..... Where do people stay in MIAMI?!?!
I am counting down until my surgery!!!! I am down to 66 days and I still haven't bought any supplies or book a place for my sister, mother and myself to stay!! My plane ticket is bought and my rental car is reserved. My surgery is Jan 5 and i fly in on the night of Jan 3 so that I can be there for my pre op on Jan 4! My mother and sister are going to take care of me but I do need to get in contact with someone for a few massages!
Please comment below if you have advice on a place to stay... or a nurse for massages with their contact info!

Giiirrrrlll I'm on Jan 7th with Hasan and I haven't bought anything yet either. Honestly, it seems so far away that I've been trying to put it out of my mind on purpose to try and make the time go by faster lol. I'm planning on getting most of the stuff I need when I get to Miami. I'm in a couple days early so I'll be making trips to Costco, etc to stock up on essentials like Gatorade/Protein Shakes/Meats and spending the day prior cooking a lot of good/healthy/iron rich meals to keep in the fridge for the first really tough few days. I didn't want to buy my garment from Vanity cause I know you can get them WAY cheaper, but I've read too many girls say that they bought the wrong size and basically wasted 100 dollars. We rented a little house near the beach for $65 a night. I thought that would be better because we need a kitchen, etc. and a hotel suite costs an arm and a leg. I'm getting my massages with Marian at Medical Massage professionals, that's the one thing I DO have done already. She's supposed to be great and she books up fast so I made sure to get my appointments in.
Other than that I have nothing done, so don't feel bad, I'm in the same boat hahaha! Maybe I'll get to see your new fatty at your post op when I'm there for surgery! Good luck with everything!

okay cool now i dont feel as behind!!! hahaha! i need to book our rental house soon! and I will def contact Marian as well! Thank you so much for the help! if you have any questions or anything just comment on my page! I think my biggest fear is Vanity canceling or pushing my surgery back!!!! I just hope everything works out!

Omg that is for SURE my biggest fear... I have everything paid for, 2 months booked off work... If they cancel on me at the last minute I'm not gonna be able to afford to reschedule the trip. I'll probably just have to make it a normal Miami vacation and call the whole thing off. No way I can take all that time from work again, pay over $1000 for my flights and another $1000 for my housing. I seriously get sick thinking about it. It makes me feel better though knowing that there are other people booked the same week. I feel like it's less likely that he's gonna take off on a last minute vacation if he's got lots of patients booked. Hopefully he's taking all his vacation time over xmas/new years and will be back hard at work when we go!

OMG ME TOO! I cannot possibly afford to reschedule! And i would feel so bad for my mother and sister wasting their money as well! hoping that he doesn't extend his new years lol So i haven't taken any lab work yet.. I was thinking about doing it soon and then a month out as well? Im nervous about that. Also, i am in the marine corps and i could only take 22 days off including my week that im in miami!!!!!! lol so i need everything to go smoothly. A bunch of male marines dont understand lol

I would definitely recommend getting some preliminary bloodwork done! Since this is my one shot to have this done now that everything is booked I am not trying to have anything go wrong at the last minute. I had ALL the bloodwork done at the beginning of last month and GOOD THING I did cause my hemo was really low! I had no clue, so I have been on an iron MISSION since then lol, taking pills 3 times a day, plus liquid iron 2 x a day and all the iron rich foods I can eat. I am gonna go get a retest on the hemo only this week to see if it's coming up any. I'm really hoping it is, I don't know how much more iron I can stomach lol! If I would have waited till the actual bloodwork was due I wouldn't have known and I wouldnt have been able to have the surgery. Omg, you're not gonna get any sympathy from a bunch of marines! Keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes without a hitch for both of us!

When I spoke with them I asked about my BF and they stated he could come but he has to stay and sleep in my bed which is cool I believe if you have guest they have to stay in your room and if you go somewhere they have to also
