He was very pleasant and professional. From our brief conversation I have the impression that he has an awesome personality and is easy to talk to. His office has 24/7 operators which is convenient for pre-op and post-op patients who may need to talk to someone regardless of time zones. I've heard nothing but great things.

3 months Pre Op ... Need to lose 35 lbs

My overall goal is to maintain 150. I don't think I would want to get down to as low as 140 so 145-150 would be perfect in my eyes. I am currently 201 ???? and a little more to love. I have always been thicker even at 150 I am muscular. I used to play sports, run a lot. But since college I have gained about 30 lbs. *sigh* work life! Lol sleep, go to work, eat, repeat... So here goes nothing ! I need to be under 170 for surgery so that's abouy 35 lbs to lose in 3 months. I think I can do it wiith fresh veggies, fruits, water and rest! Not to mention working out 5 days per week. I'm no stranger to working out so this should be easy. And as much as j want this right now... It will happen. I just won't stress over it. But here are my pre op (3 months ) pictures. I will post updates every months on my weight lost

How tall are you? We weigh about the same and I'm wondering if I will need to lose weight before my bbl, too.
5'3"
I'm 5'2 160lbs with a BMI of 30.2. I am pretty muscular though. I was concerned about whether or not I needed to lose weight so I asked my ps, he suggested that I drop 5-10lbs. I think docs prefer us to be under a certain weight for health reasons as well as maximum results.
Yes! I want to be 150 but I figured get down to 165 and I should be cool. Post op I would be close enough to 150 and I can just maintain that healthy weight.
I will start. I'm already drinking atleast 1/2 gallon but I'm going to try to fuse my water with the mints and fruits!
Start with trying to drink at least a gallon of water per day. It's gonna be hard but it will become easy after the first week. I lost 8 lbs my first week of drinking 1 gallon per day. No soda, no juices, no alcohol, just straight water. I added lemon and mint to the water for flavor
So true ! It's happened to me before also. I would say about 5-10lbs is water retention so I'm going to boost my water intake.
You got it hun! Keep pushing. I'm right there with ya. I just had to throw out all my junk food about an hour ago. Lol it was killing my progress. My sweet tooth is ridiculous. smdh
