21 Years Old, One Baby, Dr Hasan!!! - Miami, FL

Hi everyone! I've been stalking real self for a couple months now and have finally decided to have my sx done by the Magnificent Dr Hasan!! I've heard and seen a lot of good things about him and I think he would work wonders on me! A little bit about myself I'm 21 and I have a 5 month old baby. During my pregnancy I gained well over 60 pounds and I'm still trying to work it off I have about 25lbs to lose for me to be at a reasonable weight for the surgery and also be at my pre-pregnancy weight. I currently weigh about 190 and want to get to 160. I'm both excited and nervous I paid my deposit yesterday to lock in my rate and date couldn't be more happy! My first coordinator was Martha which I didn't really care for. To me it only seemed as if she wanted my money and didn't care about anything else but now I have switched to Nicole who is 10 times better in my opinion.

So I'm planning on going down to Miami for sx with my boyfriend and our daughter. As of now no one knows I'm getting this sx besides him and my sister. I still feel like I should tell my mom which I know would freak out if she found out I was down in Miami getting surgery. But I know she will be the main one being over dramatic and talking me out of this surgery even tho it's something I really want to do. Honestly I'm just nervous about telling her because I know she'll tell the rest of my family and I don't really want to hear people's opinions on why I should or shouldn't get the surgery. I already know what they're going to say "be happy with what God gave you" "stop being so insecure" "you look good just the way you are" blah blah blah. I know I'm young but I feel like this is the best for me and i know I will gain confidence from this! Besides I'm paying for this 100% with my own money. I know I'm an adult but I just think out of respect I should let my mom know just Incase anything happens to me god forbidding! I just don't know how i should bring it up to my mom. And advice? I just needed vent

So I was dreading having to go through this bull with vanity but I guess it was too good to be true. I sent my deposit over a week ago using the bill pay method and still have yet to get my invoice. I'm constantly contacting my coordinator and she's giving me the run around and also not responding to my emails. I'm getting irritated because that's $1000 of my hard earned money that is not accounted for. I'm beyond pissed right now. Vanity needs to get their [RS bleep] together.
