My first day.

I know this is long, but here it goes...I woke up this morning and got dressed to go to vanity around 5am. My driver was supposed to be here for 5:30, but did not get here until 6am. Once I arrived at vanity, I stayed in the waiting room until I was prompted to pee into a cup for a pregnancy test. When done, I went into the pre-op area (which is basically a chair with a curtain around it). A nurse directed me to take off all my clothes, remove all body piercing, put on compression socks, the cap and little surgical booties. After that, my anesthesiologist came to introduce himself, make me sign a few papers, and then put an IV into my arm. Soon after, the nurse came to take pictures, and Dr. Hasan came there to take more pictures as well as mark me up. I was instructed to follow the nurse into the OR where she would bathe me in betadine. She told me to climb onto the operating table and I was freezing in there. The anesthesiologist came in to check my blood pressure, strap me down to the table, and then give me a dose of what he calls "cocktails and margaritas" lol. Before I knocked out, I said "PLEASE make sure they put my garment on before I wake up", then I was GONE. When I woke up, the lady in there put on my dress that I arrived with and also stuffed me to assist with draining. I drank some Gatorade and ate a granola bar and fell back asleep. I woke up again to my mom talking to me, saying my driver was outside and I got off the bed to take 4 steps and got incredibly dizzy. I laid back down on my side and she propped me up in the bed to help with the dizziness and nausea. I wasn't in pain, but I was SOOOO sore. It took my mom feeding me chicken noodle soup, multiple attempts to walk and finally a nausea medicine to get up and get into the wheelchair. Walking was hard because as soon as I stood up, my legs shook like crazy. Once I got to the recovery home, i was greeted by the nurse who helped me out of the truck and into bed. I popped two pain killers by then and was fed more soup. I kept drinking water & juice which led me to have to pee SOO badly. She told me to push against the bed while she put a bottle under me so I could pee in & nothing came out. She assisted me to the bathroom, which I sat towards the toilet with the seat up, and waited 5 mins to finally pee. When I was done she helped me up, and walk me back to the bed. I almost fainted during this time because I was so dizzy and once I got to the bed, she had to change the spreading, so that I could lie down. By this point, I really feel like I'm gonna faint and throw up at the same time and I begged her to just let me get on top of the bloody chux. Of course she said no and my mom went to go get some and spread it down. It was incredible uncomfortable to get into the bed, but I made it happen. She made me smell some alcohol to wake me up and then my mom began to feed me dinner. I drank so much liquids that I had to get up and pee all over again. This time, I'm scared to walk to the bathroom so I try to go in the bottle...which did not work. I got out of the bed with my moms help and walked to the bathroom, & peed with ease. On my way back to the bed, I felt so much better than before and began to eat some pineapples. I'm trying to stay hydrated but it's hard cause I'm not use to drinking this much. The first day was hard for me, and I couldn't have done it by myself. I hope to feel better in a few days, cause feeling like this sucks. My butt is hard as a brick , i feel a lot of pressure in that area, but it doesn't hurt either. Thank you ladies for listening!

Paid in full!

I paid off my invoice this week. I'm really excited now cause I know it's no going back. Also, I moved my date up to the 16th instead of the 18th so that I can recover for a week and be back home in time for Christmas. Ive been thinking about how I'll react when it's the day of, and if I'll be nervous or crying. Either way, I'm gonna try my hardest to prepare for what's to come.
I'm thinking about all the clothes I can wear and the new confidence I'll have too! My friends keep making jokes like "I can't wait to smack your fat ass" and I don't blame them cause I can't either lol. Hopefully I'll get the small waist and heart shaped ass that I want. If so, I'll be more than greatful.
