Paying for Mutilation - Miami, FL

I paid $2,500 for the Fraxel treatments that I received last year. I came in to see Mari, a Physician Assistant who works part time there to remove minor to moderate acne scars. The treatments were spaced out between 3-4 weeks apart. By the 3rd treatment I was not seeing ANY results and I had communicated that to Mari. I asked her about the machine and she told me it was 3 years old, which is probably about 4 years old now. She told me that the following Wednesday the office was having a staff meeting and she would speak to Dr. Salomon to see if he was willing to do something for me so I wouldn't have to go into my own pocket again. I didn't hear from her the next week, or the week after that, so I reached out to her and she told me to come in January, which I did. She told me that Dr. Salomon didn't want to offer anything else unless I pay. Mari recommended that but a C02 laser would do the trick. It was much more painful and I am still recovering from burn scars 2 months later.

Expectations were poorly managed throughout. The C02 Laser was more damaging than the Fraxel treatment. It was explained to me the recovery would be about a week. My face is still damaged and burned and it's been over 2 months. This is my face we are talking about, not a body part that you can hide, it's MY FACE. I expressed my dissatisfaction with Mari via text and she told me the C02 was more aggressive AFTER the fact told me to put more cream on it. That has not worked. I now have 2 problems instead of one and have to pay to fix this. This has caused me so much embarrassment, pain, and suffering. Furthermore, I was unable to meet with clients and perform my job due to the damage to my face, which resulted in lost wages. I walked out of Dr. Salomon's office much worse off than I came in. I now have to live with these burn scars under my eyes and in process of filing suit. He will not get away mutilating people at will.
