Very disappointed and upset

I was booked for surgery on March 21/17. Everything was going good, Dr. Ghurani came into the Preop room and marked me then the anesthetiologist came in to administer my IV. As he was going through my medical information, he asked me if I had a cardiac clearance due to an irregular heartbeat 34 years ago. I replied that I was not advised to do so. After consultation with Dr. Ghurani, they did not feel comfortable putting me to sleep without knowing the condition of my heart. Apparently my surgery coordinator should have advised the doctor of my past heart issue, but she did not. The doctor and anesthetiologist were very upset with my coordinator stating that she would be fired that day. Needless to say I was very disappointed as I had saved up for this surgery for a long time, and wanted it done before my wedding on August 26/17. With the money spent on flights and accommodations, I cannot afford to return this year. Although it was not Dr. Ghurani's fault, I do not feel that I will return to Spectrum Aesthetics in the future do to this incident.

Received my medical clearance today except according to my urine test, I have a slight uti infection that I need to cure. Went to my dr today and got my prescription. 15 days until surgery. I am both excited but nervous as it's going to be painful. I have my supplies and bought a few zip up sleep gowns for comfort and easy access.

Getting excited to have my mommy makeover on March 21,2017. I underwent weight loss surgery on May 4/16 and in need of a "tune up". I will be having a breast lift with silicone implant as well as a extended tummy tuck with liposuction to the waist and flanks. my surgical coordinator Emily has been pleasant to work with, answering all my questions, emails and photos calls.

I'm in the process of losing weight prior to surgery. This far, I've lost 20 pounds. What surgery did you do to lose the weight?
I had the gastric sleeve. I have lost 95 lbs since May 4,2014
Ok... How was it post sx. I heard that it's hard to adjust to eating afterwards. Did that happen to you?

It was a struggle after the sleeve surgery. I basically had to relearn how to eat. Was well worth it!

I just had my mommy makeover yesterday - not going to lie last night was very hard but doing better today - had a shower and I'm thrilled with the way things are looking so far! Good luck - it will so be worth it!
