EYELID SURGERY

To answer few people Carlos Wolf

eye asymmetry

Didn't change a bit after a year still same asymmetry. Not worth at all $8,000. If you are out there thinking about doing blepharoplasty with Dr Wolf at Miami Plastic Surgery. Do not do it. This kind of surgery needs precision a keen eye for detail which he does not have. Aging is a factor as well. He can't see well. He can have the best intentions but he is not an eye doctor. He offered to fix it but a revision is a more complicated surgery than the first one and if he missed at the beginning he is capable of reviewing it. This is not his specialty.

Still the same

today November 15 still remain the same a little less swollen but the eye shape has changed.
Dr W removed way too much fat from right away in a way that the sking is tight to the eye orbital no fat there and is hollow and it he sew the corner of the right eye much higher than the left eye.
He seriously should be retiring from performing eye surgery.
An eye surgeon should be the most accurate possible since you are dealing with delicate skin and precision is a MUST. Now the upper eye lid is another problem he left it like a lazy eye and the left is much more open.. go figure...
I am looking for someone who can fix it at a later day since now is too early

My doctor is a niece guy however you can see my results ... it doesn't look like a $8k plus job and it was not a good job whatsoever. Not a happy experience. My eyes are operational but we don't do plastic surgery for operational reason but for cosmetic reasons. I am definitely not happy with the results the upper eyelid creases are considerably uneven one scar extends further more than the other changing the shape of one eye and the other. One is rounder and the other more like an almond. the lower eyelids are also different; one corner was stitched higher up than the other corner. He stitched them differently. My eyes have now more wrinkles than before because too much fat was taken without taken enough skin and also have some hollowness. I want to underline that originally I went for lower blepharoplasty and not upper but he convinced me it would look " unbalance" if I don't do also upper blepharoplasty. I extremely regret it. I believe 2 things happened. First time went by. He was a good surgeon. However as soccer players they cant play at their 20'S the same as at their 40's. In a plastic surgeon their vision, hands as well as updates and technology place a big role. I believe eyes are a very delicate matter an require extreme precision besides the know how which in Theory all doctors know but only few can successfully perform. Is an Art. The other thing that happened is that he didn't see it. Meaning he obviously didn't know the best way to address the problem and repair it. I don't honestly think he intentionally try to hurt me. However he couldn't help me if he couldnt see what needs to be done and repair it right there. Time went by and I know now there other techniques to perform surgery without exterior cutting etcetera. I have to say he was responsable and offer to fix it. However I never went back because I lost trust which is key in this matters. I believe doctors specializes in areas of plastic surgery. I don't think eyes are this doctor fortress. He cant be full of good intentions but he couldn't do the job. I ended with bad results and a $8000 in my credit card which 3 years later I am still paying. The purpose of writing this is to bring awareness and possibly safe some people for all the emotional and financial distress this brought to my life. I know now doctors make mistakes doesn't matter how prestigious they are.
