Lets talk about New Life 1st******* Dr. Christina Dowbak is a amazing person both on the inside and out. She cares genuinely about her patients & for that reason alone I believe it is time for her to move on from New Life Plastic Surgery & open her own practice. She’s simply became bigger then her work environment. On multiple occasions I’ve considered canceling my surgery due to the lack of communication, staff wars, and for being order to do other then what the doctor herself recommend. I’ve literally had to come out of character just to get some respect. (No I’m not referring to the waiting room time) Again the practice is too small for the doctor herself she’s reached celebrity status alongside Dr. Miami. I’ve had to come out of character because appointments that were supposed to be scheduled after surgery wasn’t!!! Front desk staff attempted to brush me off for being upset due to there mistakes, and what the heLL is the deal with the nurses?!?? The most unfriendly antisocial healthcare workers Ive met in my life ( literally in tears as I reflect). Elena, Karen, Adriana, Claudia, and one other lady she was a medical assistant along with the doctor if it wasn’t for them I would have never chosen New Life. I had to an hour STANDING UP!!! to be seen the day after surgery. Front desk response “she will just have to wait” Let’s talk about Dr. Dowbak******** Well first off she needs a vacation. Her work is amazing I feel like with such a high demand she’s working overload but that does not reflect her work. I wish she had her nurses in check. It’s kept a secret of how patients are treated after surgery day. I literally overheard a conversation between nurses. (Yes I’m African American but I can understand Spanish clearly) Nonetheless dr. Dowbak asked what I wanted and gave it to me. Only thing I didn’t like is when my IV filled with blood because the bar was holding the IV bag too low. The doctor told her to fix it and she ignored her. It was never fixed! At the end of surgery I was given a pink rose and wasn’t allowed to see the doctor until 2 days after. The day before I left Mimi I gave the doctor a thank you card because she deserves it and we cried together. Happy tears Let’s talk about surgery *** Woke up freezing which is normal. I’m 5’6 and 200 pounds. See pics below. Woke up comfortable. The worst part is the massages. Almost passed out. Please stay hydrated and eat before you go.
