Today I went in for my initial consultation and left very happy. Dr. Ghurani makes you feel very comfortable, and talks you through everything. He was very honest and you can tell he really cares about his patients ! I am almost there ! Surgery date is June 25th, I'm currently a 34B going for a 34D, high profile 400cc implants.

Day of Surgery 6-25-2015

Well ladies, I was very excited and anxious as I was walking into the waiting room. I made it to the office at 11:30am, because I was told to come in at that time the day before. They collected to urine to make sure Im not pregnant, and sat there in their waiting room until 3pm. I can say that was the best part of it all lol, I was chatting with some girls who happen to be getting the same procedure with Ghurani ! Luckily I was schedule before both of them. Nonetheless, I make it to my room and start changing into my gown for surgery, tie my hair, and take pictures of myself, to see my progress after. HOWEVER, I ended up being in that waiting room until 9:30pm. I can't begin to express how hungry and weak I was feeling! When the doctor came into mark me and take pictures, I was dizzy and keep moving. (At this point I was 20 hours without food or water) honestly I already expected LONG wait times because of the reviews I've read online. But this wait time was insane. Anyways, I went back at 9:30pm and immediately went under the anesthesia, I had never been under general anesthesia before so this was something new to me. All I remember was laughing with my anesthesiologist and BOOM knocked out lol. I woke up crying a little, maybe it was my emotional self overreacting because I was still medicated enough where I didn't feel actual pain, rather it was pressure on my chest. The nurse gave me medicine to calm me down and for the pain, then right after, I was ok to walk to a chair nearby and just sit and wait for the hubby to come back and get me. My car ride was smooth !! Thank god! Hubby had some sprite and chicken soup with him, and on the ride home I had the sprite which helped my stomach. I wasn't feeling any nausea or anything which allowed me to eat the moment I made it home at 11:45pm. After I ate, I took my pain medication to be ahead of the game and fell asleep !! I had the best sleep ever! I slept with my back and feet elevated, and now I'm writing this lol.
Note: the doctor himself isn't at fault for the disorganization of his front desk staff. He was amazing with me, and always gentle. I can't wait to see my results at my post op today ! Wish me luck girls !
