HORRIBLE EXPIRENCE

My experience with Dr. Micheal and his staff has been terrible. I paid the $1,000 deposit to secure my surgery date and patiently waited for an entire year for a skype interview with Dr. Salzhauer.
I was scheduled a date for the interview, upon approach I was told he would call in between the hours of 3-8pm, (a large time slot.) So I got off work and waited all day by the computer, in my underwear, waiting for a skype call. I received NO call and NO word, nobody reached out to tell me the Dr. would not be calling me that day.
I called their office and they told me he would get back to me tomorrow, no apologies or care.

I once again got off work and waited the second day, by the computer, for hours. Again, no skype call, and no one reached out to me. I called both times. Still no apologies from the office, "the doctor will get back to you tomorrow."
The third day, again, I waited all day, for hours, still no Skype call, while watching yet again the Dr fooling around on Snapchat while I was sitting there waiting, missing work with no apologies. I called their office again that night, for the third time, this time VERY upset and in tears. At this point I had missed 3 days of work, waiting, doing nothing, eagerly anticipating a skype video call a waiter a year for.

Only after complaining to their office VERY upset at this point, did Dr. Salzhauer make an unscheduled telephone call late at night, at a time that was highly inconvenient for me and not allotting me our agreed Skype interview.
He talked to me on the phone for a few minutes, said I'd look great with a BBL and D breast implants then promptly hung up.

He called me to silence me, not to give me the care, consideration and attention I deserve as a PAYING patient. I never got my skype call, I never got to ask my questions I had prepared. I didn't get to point out my concerns or show what parts of my body I wanted liposuctioned, what parts I didn't or how I wanted to go about my surgery. I didn't get to show him how I visualized dream body and my expectations.

I've been to several doctors in person who have all told me I'm too skinny for a bbl, and that I already look great and I wouldn't benefit much from such an invasive surgery. Perhaps we are too critical of ourselves and some doctors and people exploit these insecurities we have for profit. Perhaps if he would have actually cared to give me the time I was PROMISED over skype video he could have told me this too or told me to gain weight, etc. Instead of me just showing up to his office across the country (I live in CA) and being turned away from surgery, or worse taking my money and doing the surgery when it shouldn't have even been done in the first place and leaving me with unsatisfactory results. Lumps, bumps, etc.

Because I did not receive my detailed interview, because I was continually pushed aside like my time and life didn't matter, I felt extremely discomforted about having my surgery performed by Dr. Salzhauer. I was never offered to reschedule for the formal Skype face to face interview I deserved. I have not received the promised services from his office.

From my experience I have deduced Dr. Miami does not care about his patients or values their time or concerns. It seems he only cares about the money. I would suggest taking your business somewhere else. Somewhere where you won't be repeatedly neglected by your Doctor and hopefully a doctor that wants to help you and doesn't have a profit over people based mindset. He has other things on his mind, quality patient care is not at the top of his list. He has so much going on he could care less about his paying patients. Dr. Salzhauer and his staff just made me feel like a dollar sign.

I eventually decided I didn't want a BBL and Breast Implants and I felt better about myself and wanted to go a healthier and more natural way that didn't involve invasive surgery. At that time I called to have my deposit transferred to someone who wanted the same surgery as me which was denied, then I requested a refund because I no longer wanted to do business with them, which was also denied. At that point, my legally minded boyfriend got on the phone and started questioning them about the situation and the shady aspects of how they were running their business and how it would actually hold up in court. They met him with aggression and annoyance, belittlement and dismissal for how they were basically trapping and stealing money from a girl who only entered into business with them because of her low self esteem and insecurity. He then pointed out that they did not hold up on their requirements in the deal; how they didn't give me a proper interview and wasted 3 working days of my time, and added a great of distress into my life. At this point, they then hastily agreed to a refund, as if they were going to give from the beginning despite saying no possible way for the majority of the conversation.

I gave them an option to transfer the deposit to someone else, who would give them business, at no financial distress to them. They even owed me an interview, so this was not using any additional time to the initial agreement. It's important to note, that they refused to do this even though no longer had intentions of getting a BBL from them or any other doctor. They were planning on pocketing that money, they only changed their tune after they got the phone with someone who wouldn't let them prey on people. What does this say about their character? What does this say about their motivation?

I also want to mention that canceling my appointment would have ONLY benefited their offices. I created my appointment back before they had raised their surgery prices so they could have EASILY filled my time slot with someone from their mile long list that would have paid full price. Cancelling my appointment would have only made their offices more money.

After they hung up, I immediately emailed them confirming they verbally agreed to return my deposit over the phone, in fear they would deny the conversation ever took place. I heard no word back from them, no confirmation, nothing. A month went by, during this time I had several unanswered emails, and unreturned phone calls inquiring about the status of my refund. Only after sending a threatening email did I see the money hit my account the next day. The woman who agreed to return my deposit did not tell me if or when she was starting the return process. I did not receive a single receipt or update.

If you want to deal with an unresponsive, negligent, and uncaring staff then this is your office.

Met with a doctor today. I told her I was surprised that I was told I was too skinny for a BBL. Well... She told me too I was too skinny for a BBL. Bummer. It's crazy to me because I have so much fat and I always see Drs doing BBL's on skinny women!

My surgeon told me I was fine and good to go. I think I'm just going to lose weight and then go in for Boob job and possibly a thigh lift if I need one. I used to be obese so I have a bit of lose skin but it might not be a problem when I lose the weight.
So at the Drs I got to try on some breast implants! These ones were 350 cc's the 400's I thought were too big on me.
I decided to go with round implants instead of teardrop. I'll probably go with some high profile implants too. Although the Dr. Couldn't tell me if the implants I tried on we're moderate profile or high profile.
Trying on the implants made me feel so good! Makes my waist feel super small.

Now I just can't wait for my surgery! :( I want it now!!!! ???????????? I have to wait another year though. It will be worth it but it's been such a long wait already.
