I got a BBL on Tuesday evening, July 10th. Dr. Valls was very nice. He talked to me about considering a tummy tuck instead of a BBL because he believed that I would achieve greater results. After considering it, I still went through with the bbl. I am very happy with my results thus far. I'm still swollen of course( it hasn't been 4 whole days yet). I don't know how I feel about Jolie PS. I'm now home in MD, with my drain still in because my surgery coordinator, Cindy Lopez scheduled me to leave prematurely. Anyway, the nurse Mirita from recovery was a true angel. Rosilin who did the lymphatic massages was awesome. Dr. Valls was extrodinary...Cindy Lopez, my coordinator, she was unavailable every time I called to speak to her the moment that I landed in Miami! Poor customer service. As a result, I'm home in MD with a drain still attached to my torso. I did not receive any clear instructions on recovery, again, a customer service issue.

Have you had your drain taken out? I will have to leave Miami in the weekend and they are closed Sunday, I’m just hoping they take it out on Saturday before I leave. Going in August

It's finally draining less than the 25 mark in 24 hours, so I intend on having my primary care physician remove it today. I have some swelling around the entrance. Make sure that you get all of your massages. Mine were rushed because I wasn't there for long after surgery. I was told yesterday that the lumps under my skin (sides and torso) are because I need more lymphatic massages. Like I said, my surgery was Tuesday night, I got a massage on Wed, Thur, and Fri. I left Miami early Saturday morning. Had I known, I would have stayed until Tuesday, making it a full 7 days.

Did you get any massages when you got back? Did you go to a separate massage parlor or did Jolie do your massages?

I paid for the 3 that Jolie offered for $250. Unbeknownst to me, we should have at least 10. Please make sure that you get your massages. I have lumps along my back and abdomen because I didn't know that I needed more on top of the three that I received in Miami. I am so over this. Also, I went to the ER yesterday for the JP drain removal, they would not take it out. My friend ended up removing it for me. Be safe please. I am starting to regret my surgery and it's all because of the lack of customer service with JPS pre and post surgery.

Wow I’m happy you posted that, I didn’t know i needed at least 10, they almost make it sound optional smh. I’ll book more in Miami and here at home too. Outside of Jolie’s mess, are you liking your results? Did Valls meet your expectations? I was considering changing Doctors but something (maybe intuition) is keeping me with Valls.

Yes you have to get many massages . The surgery is like 60% and 40% is you doing post op care. Also massage yourself everyday or you will get fibrosis/hard lumpy areas. I had surgery with Valls June 28th and I’m still getting massages .

Have you had surgery yet? Get another coordinator asap. Also, make sure that you stay long enough for them to take your jp drain out. At least 7 days post op. I drank to gallons of water everyday, so I drained really well.

I swear, I don't understand that. As soon as you call, they'll put you on hold and return your call an hour later, if that. They answered quickly when I was still paying it off. They act brand new once you're paid in full.

Yes, I had to. My iron was low even after taking 3 supplements a day. It's an extra $525. Your surgeon will talk to you before surgery about it if your hemoglobin is low. Mine was 12.1.

Dr. Valls work. I'm almost four weeks post op. Everything seems to be coming along well. I'm drinking 1.5-2 gallons of water daily. I'm still wearing my compression foams and boards. I'm in a LG faja now. I started in a XXL. I'm still taking my iron:)
