44 Years Old, Mother of 4 and Wife.... BBL - Miami, FL Dr,Fisher

I'm traveling alone and the recovery house I'm staying at is getting a lot of horrific reviews lately! They are understaffed not feeding ppl and leaving clients stranded for hours at the clinics. People are saying they are having to uber to the airport in order not to miss their flights. I'm on the fence about just staying at a hotel alone and keep my money. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced RH that are actually good?

I have been trying to get cleared from my GP of almost 10 years for two weeks now. I'm beginning to believe he is anti-cosmetic surgery well he is a sports medicine doctor as well. When went to him a week ago he enters the room and asks what am I having done. I told him lipo and was kinda shy when I told him with a Brazilian but lift. He then asks what dr will be doing it and I told him, Dr. Fisher. He looked like he was trying to think about who that was and I told him he is not in Houston he is in Miami and that's when everything became weird, He started asking why I didn't want to have it done here in Houston. It seemed in his tone and stance like he was offended or repulsed that I would be traveling to have this done. He begins to insult the idea of my surgeon wanting a "Clearance" letter and starts to explain that no dr will clear a patient straight out. He says its either low risk, medium risk, and high risk. I only have IBS, allergy induced asthma and uterus fibroids which I decided on not having a hysterectomy because I'm 44 and pre-menopausal and they usually shrink on their own. My EKG was Normal. He said he wanted to add the sickle cell to my blood labs which if I had the sickle cell at age 44 I would have known but I was told by my mom I carried the trait. So, when he added that I told him that. which it is already in my charts so idk why he was playing with me. He sits down and laughs and says I cant clear you because of the sickle cell trait you would have to see a Hematologist. At this point, I'm aggravated and annoyed but not mad because hey it is what it is. I spend $480.00 just to see the hematologist for 10 min in which she adds 8 more labs to the other 7 I already had to take... mind you I'm paying out of pocket for all of this because I don't have insurance. So now my labs cost me 800.00 instead of the $325.00 that I had budgeted. Now Im mad at this point and wanted to just cry. I sucked it up and kept my head high though. Got my labs back and my hemoglobin is 12.2 yaay... but my ferritin levels where in range but not where my hematologist wanted them to be and that's 100. Because they were low my WBC was a 3.5 and she added was most likely my baseline (normal is 4 to 11) and she wants me to continue taking the iron and come back in 6 weeks and she said there is nothing here in your
blood work that would prevent you from having surgery on Tuesday. btw idk where my mom interpreted i had sickle cell trait from because that came back negative and no abnormalities so no trait was found.... I called her on that and this Woman screams "it's a miracle" smdh! anyways, Now the Gp is using I have a low WBC as a hindrance to clear me. He wants the Hemotologist to basically clear me in writing verbatim in a letter saying 'Im aware of her WBC count is low and I clear her for surgery. Like he is scared to clear me. Now I'm sitting here in limbo because her initial letter that everything was fine didn't appease him. UGH, If he doesn't clear me tomorrow I'm gonna find another Dr. for good and make sure they're not anti-plastic surgery.

Welp, vanity called about a month ago and informed me that Dr. Fisher will be at a conference the day of my surgery and asked if I wouldn't mind rescheduling. Because of som unfortunate events in my life I was very pleased to push my date back. My new date is January 19th, 2017.
