Hello! Hope everyone is doing well. In the beginning of this year, 2017 I decided to have a bbl procedure. After hearing about a few experiences from friends I decided to have my surgery done in Mexico, TJ. Big mistake, Dr. Carlos Ivan Buritica performed my surgery. Weeks later, I discovered an uneven lump (along with pain) on my left cheek, called the office, scheduled an appointment & returned to his office where he suctioned the area. I was told to wait 3 weeks for the swelling to go down. 4 weeks later & nothing has changed!!! So I returned to the office for suctioning once more, this time I was as sent home with antibiotics. Weeks later, volume has dropped dramatically & pain is still present. At this point I'm still wearing my garment due to the lump being embarrassing without the support. June, 2017 I decided to see a PS here in Beverly Hills. He performed a small lipo procedure (to the lumpy area) in the office under local anesthesia. He didn't promise any dramatic changes, however, he was willing to give it a try. 5 months after bbl and the lump seems as if it continues to filling up (no changes) At this point, I don't know what I should do? I regret the procedure but need to fix it somehow. Is there any recommendations from any wonderful PS out there? Should I consider second BBL/correction? Could this possibly help? The lump isn't hard, soft in touch. Up until a few days ago, I noticed so much more volume has gone down on upper side of my cheek (heartbreaking). Thank you in advance for any feedback.
By the way, my sister had a bbl performed with the same Dr. Same lumpy issue. RUN!

Damn...it looks just like mine, and I'm 12 weeks po...im already looking into and considering a round 2 to try to correct. Same with me. Faja you don't notice but without it you do. I wish I had a better answer for you.
Hi, so sorry to hear
Sorry, I just browsed through your photos. I wish I had more answers.
You should see Dr. Cat Begovic in Beverly Hills. I follow her on Instagram and her work is second to none.
Her next consultation is in feb 2018 :( super far from now. Thank you
The bbl itself doesn't look bad, it's just that little lump
The bump seems to have gotten better but it's still there :(
Girl, I feel for you! I'm 7 months post op and I'm so unhappy with my results. These doctors seem to be not really specified in BBL and use us as real life training objects...it's crazy...let me know who you went to for revision and if the results are good? I'm looking for a doctor as well.
Hi, I just read through your experience :( I'm sorry to hear. I know how difficult it is to live with the results of work you are unhappy with. I've seen a Dr. Here in Los Angeles. Last resort, totally remove that area, since lipo isn't helping. I'm hesitating only because it's going to leave a large scar. I'll definitely keep you all updated on what route I take. Best of wishes to you. Remember, you have air in your lungs. That's more than enough to be thankful for. Just take this as a learning experience. You will survive HUGS!!!
hi what dr did u go to? I’m looking for a dr
I can relate as well! Everything came out good but my right butt cheek. It is smaller and con-craved in thd middle while my left is full, round and projection. I'm looking on doing a 2 round as well. I had my surgery at the end of 9/2017. I'm also torn with myself! I sometimes feel ashamed of myself and I'm embarrass to go out. I'm still debating if I should get a revision with the same surgeon or look for someone else. This has been such, a sad, overwhelming and stressful journey. Please don't lose hope. That is all we can hang on to at this point.
