Been balding since 23 years-old. Decided to start treatment in order to slow down process & HT procedure for the losts ones.
I went onto this forum to lurk a bit and other website to find out about the costs because here in Canada it is way too expensive! Had a surgeon to check on me and told me I need to cover up the temples in the forst place qith 1600 grafts at a cost of $12,000 (i wanted FUE (no scar) and found out that Dr. Roberto was probably one of the bests around but also cheapest without quitting the continent.
Bad to say that on my 1st day in Mexico I got robed within the first hour and got a bit scared of the locals and cartels. But since I was very minded I decided to stay for surgery and of course almost to not leave the hotel. First day I did ask Dr. Roberto to help me regain a bit of energy and help me sleep with some pills which were really great btw (morphine :)). And the first day happened to fly fast!! Knocked on morphine I didnt even really realised whatever happened and dont even remenber taking pictures. Woke up and went back to the hotel... unfortunately since I was a bit still on the morphine I did knock my head against a wall .. lossing 100 grafts without even knowing it.. second day of procedure Dr. Roberto noticed, repaired right away.. finished the procedure on my forehead and brought me back to the hotel himself (probably worried Id bang my head again!!!) But everything went fine... stayed a couple more days at the hotel (2) to wait dor the 1st hair wash then left Mexico and the third day... I have to say that I could deal with the pills.. after 2 days or Morphine my body rejected all antibiotics and pain killer the Dr. Gave me... so I was very tired and had some pain for quite a few days.. Im also not good with sleeping (in all forms). After another 4-5 days.. everything was back normal. Tbc

Well its been 3 months. Im finally starting to see some results. Using Rogaine 5% 2x/day + Finasteride and laser comb once per 2 days. The front is getting better but we still see the crown.

Crown always takes longer because blood flow isn't as good (at least according to my surgeon!) good luck, you're over the worst of it now. Looking forward to seeing your results in a few months time!

Maybe a bit early to tell, but should thicken up. It actually already looks pretty good if you ask me

Here is the crown I missed in the last update. Let me know what you think.
At this point im thinking thats results are good but its not dense enough. I wish it was thicker. And that is going to improve for real over the next weeks !!!

What does your hair / crown look like now? You're in month #9 and probably at 80% of total growth.
