Top plastic surgeons in Mexico

I am now more than 10 weeks postop. I have suffered from an infection for the first six weeks postop. My left breast is significantly larger than my right. There is absolutely no follow up care at all when you have a procedure done with TOP PLASTIC SURGEONS MEXICO. At best, you get to send an email and have somebody that has no medical knowledge whatsoever respond. You are completely left alone after surgery. If you are considering having your surgery in Mexico City, you need to know that there is an incredibly high risk of infection As they do not practice washing their hands or wearing gloves. If you do suffer, there’s absolutely no one to follow up with. I have tons of photos if anyone wishes to see

My name is Nicole and I had a breast reduction and lift done it one of top surgeons facilities in Mexico City eight weeks ago. I would like to state that I am not looking for an apology or refund! When I made , what I believed to be an educated decision , to have surgery at one of their facilities, I have to confess that the monetary value of their services was a big player in my decision-making.

I have been a registered nurse in the United States for more than 25 years. I have wanted to have a breast reduction since the age of 15. I remember reaching out to their company and asking about a complaint letter that I had read online. There was a prompt response and a discount of what the woman had stated. I was told by a representative that she was trying to seek out money. I would like to state that her account was pretty accurate. With all surgical procedures there is always a risk of complications and infection. I believe that a lot of my complications could’ve been avoided by simple handwashing by their staff.

First, I would never of had a procedure done in such a horrible clinic. Their company sent me images of a very nice and high tech operating room at a major hospital. I had my procedure done in a very run down and poorly equipped clinic. The doors were open to the operating room and there was no negative pressure or cool flowing air. The equipment was old and ran down. When I met with the surgeon, it was in a very nice facility. I almost backed out of having the procedure done altogether when I saw operating clinic. I really liked my surgeon and his professional manner. I believe that the staff at the clinic was very professional. When I woke up from my procedure, I noticed that none of the staff wore gloves nor did they wash their hands after any treatment with me. The care that I received during the recovery process was excellent. However, when I was moved to my “Hospital bed or room” for the night, the care was horrible. I had saturated blood through my dressings and I was told by the surgeon that I would have two drains. I did not receive drains, and I still have two holes that are not healing well. My question would be for the surgeon, when you explained the procedure to me and What I had read online regarding the standard of care, what happened to the drains you told me that I would have? Did you run out? I was very swollen and needed them. Either way, the assistant or nurse, changed my dressings without washing her hands or wearing gloves. She did not wash her hands when she entered into the room and she did not wash her hands when she left the room. The physician did not wash his hands either!!!! Hand-washing is a technique that is been proven to decrease infection and transmission of disease internationally and without question. The TV in my room did not work and there was no Wi-Fi. There was no one that spoke English. It is one of the most miserable nights I have ever spent. I have had more than seven other surgeries and nothing compares to this horrible treatment!

I begged the nurse for nausea medicine as I continue to vomit through the night. I begged the nurse for pain medication and she told me none was available. I begged her to call the doctor ! I asked for crackers or jello, or even juice! She said none was available. She did not take my vital signs even once the entire course of the night. She gave me a telephone that I could not reach in order to call her for help. When the dayshift nurse arrived, she promptly change my saturated dressings and again did not wash your hands or wear gloves. She took my vital signs, gave me pain medication, and got me something to eat. Her care was exceptional. I am truly concerned about what happens to their patients each night due to the care that they receive under that night nurse. It was absolutely unacceptable and horrible. I did express this to the surgeon in the morning.

We found that once we were discharged from the facility, getting in touch and communicating with any staff members became very difficult. Top surgeons company is excellent in providing communication prior to surgery. However, after surgery it is almost impossible to get in touch with anyone. They may discount this as much as they wish. We had the hotel call, we texted, and we waited a long time for response. When we were at the The hotel, again when the staff came to assess the drainage and change the bandages, no gloves or handwashing was performed. This truly is an unacceptable behavior. I have had an infection now for eight weeks.

In closing, transparency and honesty are very important. Your clients deserve to know where they’re actually going to have their surgery performed and they need to see accurate pictures of where that place is. It is not in some well ran hospital with a solid reputation but in a ran down And maybe even unsafe clinic. The decision to have an elective procedure, has cost me a great deal of money in prescription antibiotics, pain, and horrific scarring. Both breast have dehisced at the T-junction, the scarring from all the infection is horrible, my breast are very painful, and so far the appearance of my breast is horrible! The left is larger....

Your testimonies online should be from all of your patience. Your patience have a right to read about your complications as well as your success. Not once, has anyone sent me a survey to ask about my experience. In closing, can you please ask my surgeon what type of sutures were used internally as my primary care physician desperately needs to know. It appears that they will not dissolve on their own.My story needs to be heard and you need to enforce good handwashing technique with your staff. An investigation into what happens to your patience while they spend the night at that facility should be investigated. The care I received that night was horrible. It was in direct contrast with the good quality care that I had received during the evening and in the following morning.

Sincerely and regrettably!!!

Top surgeons. My physician seemed well educated and had a great bed side manner . He seemed well trained and asswered all my questions. He spoke good English and appeared professional but who doesn’t wear gloves when changing saturated dressings or wash their hands after changing these dressings?
