My name is Lisa, I am 21 years old. I had a rhinoplasty eight months ago -February 2017- in Mexico with TopPlasticSurgeonsMexico.
My doctor was dr Juan Bernardo Baltazar Rendon, whom I choose because i loved the rhinoplasty he did on my sister.
My assistant at top surgeons mexico confirmed that dr Bernardo was rather popular amongst patients who have gone through rhinoplasty and his reputation is outstanding,, and that’s why I let him to perform my nose operation.
My nose has always bothered me! I had a hump in my nose, the bridge was too wide and my nostrils were not even!!!
I always looked at other women’s noses and liked the way that they looked “feminine”. There was nothing feminine about my nose.
Several months before my surgery I was looking for proper profile, I looked through magazines, made a search on the internet looking for some pictures and finally I picked out the profile I wanted.
During my first consultation Dr Bernardo explained me how all would going to be, also he honestly answered all the questions which I gave him.
He was amazing and meticulous. He is a sweet man and his bedside manner was so comforting and reassuring. He made me feel so comfortable, was very realistic, an excellent listener and picked up on exactly what I wanted changed.
My surgery was planned the next day in the afternoon at 2:00pm.
When I arrived to clinic, my assistant told me to stay in the waiting room for a while, because my doctor will come a little bit later – he explained that surgeon has not yet finished performing the procedure with another patient.
When the doctor came we had a last talk before operation – he told me what he would do.
… 4:30pm, finally!! I was taken to operating room.
Then in operating room, it took half an hour to prepare for procedure. I was laying on the operating table and prayed for successful ending. After a moment I felt into sleep.
When I woke up I understood that I am in recovery room. It seemed to me that operation was lasted for about 10 minutes, though my doctor said me it took 1h30 to perform my rhinoplasty…the surgery was an open rhinoplasty.
After the surgery I felt a bit of pressure behind my eyes and I could not open them. I started to panic, but the nurse at clinic said that it is normal reaction after rhinoplasty.
She encouraged me to open my eyes, but I could not it was so hard and painful!!! When I finally opened them I felt hazardous pain!!
After the surgery I did not stay in the hospital, my assistant came to take me to my hotel. The doctor prescribed me eyes drops and pills to decrease the pain.
This medicine helped me a lot and in a few days the pain has gone. I felt discomfort only while sleeping, because my throat was very tender from being intubated. Once my throat healed, I felt fine.
I stayed 9 days in Mexico, my recovery process was good, but on the second and third day my swelling and bruising was hazardous! My eyes became extremely red, my cheeks were swollen too. I look awful and it was traumatic to see myself like this. I became very sensitive and the same time angry at myself for what I have done!!!
On the seven day I started to feel MUCH better and look normal again.
Telling the truth the procedure was relatively painless! The hardest part of my recovery was sitting at hotel, going nowhere and waiting for results. Overall I am very satisfied with my decision!
It was luck to have such a doctor as mine. I was so happy for decision to let dr Bernardo to perform the operation! I feel myself BEAUTIFUL now and i am not self-conscious anymore about my nose.
When I see a camera I still get the initial feeling i don’t want a photo in profile, but then I remember i have a new nose—I look good in profile now ?. I still can’t believe this is my nose!
Many people told me I look great! My nose looks so natural but people noticed I had a rhinoplasty because I look different. But when i talk to people all the time about getting my nose done and they all say that they would never have known that I had any plastic surgery.
Now I know I made the right choice to have it done in Mexico.

I like to start out by saying Dr Juan Bernardo is amazingly very good at what he does. I would say that he the person who changed my entire life. I had rhinoplasty done elsewhere in 2015 and it was a disaster. Last May 2017, Dr Juan Bernardo helped me fix my nose. His techniques for the nose reconstruction is flawless. Certainly to me he has always been most kind and indulgent. I am sincerely grateful for everything you've done for me. The surgery has given me so much confidence and a further very positive attitude to life.

I had rhinoplasty done elsewhere in 2015 and it was a disaster. Last May 2017, Dr Juan Bernardo helped me fix my nose. His techniques for the nose reconstruction is flawless. the bruises and hematomas started to disappear after one week
when the dr removed the cast my nose had a nice looking but the swelling was still visible.
