well seems like with everybody else I've been looking and thinking of a tummy tuck for about 5 years now. I'm still nervous and excited can't believe the Day is almost here. I've been stuck in this website for months now reading everyones reviews and looking at there before and after pics wondering what mine will look like. I hope I'm not being selfish or something happens to me I do have 2 kids at home but everybody's pretty supportive I did everything I was supposed to do but the doctor said I made my last minute trip to the store last night to get milk of magnesia ginger ale crackers nightgowns at the pub in the front with pockets for my drainage tube bulbs and a nice robe with pockets in the front. I'm a busy person that works two jobs I can't believe I'm going to be down for a couple weeks I can't imagine just sitting around waiting to recover. hope that ill be able to post pictures right away.

I will be praying that you have a great outcome with the surgery and that your recovery will be speedy. Try not to feel guilty. For most of us, we operate in the mode of "self comes last", so try not to feel bad about doing something that makes you feel better about you.

Thanks you're right. I been disgusted and hiding this muffin top for way too long. now I'm recovering and finally going to be happy with my body and clothing

well once I woke up I was in a lot of pain in my stomach and they gave me something in my iv for pain and also some percoset and hat really helped after that I didn't have any pain. at the hospital I got up to use the bathroom and was surprised that I was not that hunched over the nurse said I was doing really well. sitting in the hospital bed or the recliner feels fine it's just when you get up or bend is when you can feel tightness and pain a little bit in the incision. I have to drainage tubes, one on each side that I been draining About every 3 hours and a numbing pain pump called onQ in the middle. Here is a pic of what it looks like. doctor said to return in 6 days do not shower or take the binder or any gauze off until then. but nightgown with a zipper in front was the best idea it's so easy to drain them and use the bathroom. the nurse said you could put a t-shirt under it just so these things ain't directly on your skin and rubbing but I think it's fine for now. forgot to mention I had lipo of the Flanks and upper abdomen so there is some bruising on the sides. Vajay jay definitely feels higher up lol
