Thrilled with my Results!

I want to be as thorough and honest in this review as I can because I felt like reading others' reviews helped me so much. So after I had my 4 kids, I worked very hard to lose all of my baby weight. I wanted to do it on my own and I did. But, I was left with an unfortunate sag in my lower tummy area. Even after losing the weight it never went away. I wore corsets and waist shapers. I ran miles and miles and miles everyday. Did crunches galore. Still it didn't budge. For all the hard work I put in to myself, I still felt very self conscious because I always had this awkward bulge that was a result of this hanging skin. I just wanted it gone so I did what most women do and decided to google about it. It seemed like Tummy tucks were the only option. (Did I mention I'm horribly afraid of needles/ surgery / etc..) So of course this wasn't an option for me. But I was drawn to looking at before and after images. For months I obsessed over it (my husband was so tired of me talking about it ! ) Then the idea of a tummy tuck became more and more appealing to me. I looked over SOO many of the local Board Certified Plastic Surgeons' portfolios. I didn't just look at the tummy tuck images but also their other work. Their aesthetic and symmetry. The attention to detail and shape. I fell in love with Dr. Khoobehi's work most of all. I think I read every review a patient has ever written about him. (who wouldn't right? this is a big deal!) I decided to book a consultation with him to discuss what I wanted. The office was beautiful, his staff was so kind and friendly and I immediately felt comfortable. Can I just say I LOVED how confident his staff is in him. They spoke so highly of him and exuded the utmost respect and admiration for his work. This was also something that made me feel at ease and made me fell confident in my decision to go with Dr. Khoobehi for my surgery. I kept telling myself If I was going to do it, it would only be if they wouldn't touch my belly button and only if the scar was small (a mini tuck).. Otherwise I wouldn't do it at all. So I told him what I thought I wanted to do and he listened. I liked that he was honest with me the most and told me that doing it the way I wanted would be sub par. The only way to achieve the look I really wanted was to do the Full Tummy tuck. (my heart sank a little I'll be honest) but he was right. Why spend all of this money to fix one problem and be left with another just because I was scared. I thought I wouldn't mind having a droopy little belly button as long as the saggy skin was gone but in all honesty I probably would mind. I was just so nervous about having one of those Frankenstein belly buttons. He discussed further with me what approach he would take in order to achieve the most beautiful results for my shape. I went home to talk to my husband who was very encouraging. He agreed with Dr. Khoobehi. Why would I want to do this and not do it the right way. Needless to say I decided to do it. The surgery facility was super clean and the staff was very friendly. Dr. Khoobehi met with me before the surgery to talk things over one last time. He made me feel confident and I knew I was in good hands. I made him promise he would give me the most beautiful belly button he'd ever given anyone ( lol ). The recovery went well, I had drains in for about a week. He gives his patients his personal number should anything happen. Let me just say..You definitely get what you pay for! I am 6 weeks post op and I have NEVER felt more beautiful. Even at my smallest I had a very boxy waist and now I have a slender hourglass shape. My belly button looks amazing and its still swollen and not fully healed and you can see my ABS! Every week that passes I love the results more and more. Dr. Khoobehi is a true artist. You can tell he takes pride in his work and only recommends what in his experience would be the best outcome. I am so glad I listened to his advice and not pushed for what I wanted (or wanted to hear). I also wanted to mention that everything was included in my price for surgery. I read a lot of reviews from others and that wasn't the case for a lot of patients. By everything I mean EVERYTHING.. My garments were included. The initial one I woke up wearing post op and then a fresh one they gave me once the drains were removed. I wore a lot of waist shapers (etc) before and let me say this one is the best by far. They also want their patients to have the best results possible and have them do Endermologie sessions post op to help with the healing (which I LOVE- its like being massaged). I have had an amazing experience and would highly recommend Dr. Khoobehi to everyone. I can't wait to get my before and after pictures to share on this post!
