Gummy Bear Breast Implants and Tummy Tuck - Very Little Pain! - Metairie, LA

I'm a 40 y/o Mom with 2 kids. I had gummy bear implant surgery and also a tummy tuck 10 weeks ago & I am THRILLED with the results!! BEST DECISION EVER! I was a 36B cup before surgery. 385cc Sientra gummy bear implants brought me to a full 36D cup. I cannot stress how much I LOVE them! I was uncertain if I wanted the 385cc implants or 425cc implants mainly because I have a larger frame & I didn't want to look fat. I discussed my concerns with my surgeon & asked her to make the final decision during the surgery. In the end, she implanted the 385cc and they are perfect! She implanted them through the nipples. I was pleasantly surprised there was almost ZERO post op pain in my breasts. The little pain that I had was very well controlled with post op pain meds. I also have full sensation in my breasts. The gummy bear implants are so realistic! No underlying ridges can be felt. They feel exactly like my normal breast tissue & besides the very tiny scar that is still healing, you can't tell that I had breast augmentation. In a few months, you won't be able to see the scar. I am more comfortable with my body & I love to wear form fitting shirts, now!!! I would definitely recommend the gummy bear implants. The breast augmentation surgery was a breeze & money well spent! My surgeon sent me home with a list of recommended bras to wear once she released me. In case your surgeon doesn't have any post op bra recommendations, the Victoria's Secret "knock out" bra is so comfortable. It gives you a lot of support & accentuates your cleavage.

The tummy tuck surgery was a slightly more difficult recovery but I was still pleasantly surprised with the post op recovery. For the 1st 5 days, I only winced when trying to sit up or stand. I had no pain while lying down. After the 1st week, I no longer had pain when trying to sit or stand. I never had surgery prior to this & I am a wimp when it comes to pain. Again, I want to stress that my post op pain was well controlled with post op pain meds. Also, My surgeon injected a long term numbing medicine called Exparel & I HIGHLY recommend you ask for this injection to control post op pain. I have a sit down job & went back to work after 2 weeks with no problems. I am THRILLED with my results. This is the 1st time in my life, I have ever had a flat stomach (even before pregnancy). I love shopping for clothes now & showing off my new figure. FYI- I still wear the same size jeans that I did before surgery, I just look BETTER. Much better.
Also, if you are considering a tummy tuck, I would recommend you have someone stay with you for at least 5 days to help you get up. At 9 weeks post op, I was back to a full exercise routine.
