Wow!! One year has rolled by so fast!!! Yes, that's an upset baby possum I trapper early that morning in Lakeway 2, in Metairie, LA. All has gone great with my results from my lower face & neck lift done by Dr Khoobehi!! I am having a lip lift the first week in May, to shorten the distance between the top of my lip & the bottom of my nose. Fillers & fat transfers have not been that effective with plumping my thin, top lip. I have my preop this coming Monday.

You still look great!!! But that Opossum, is too near your face...ouch!! Lol!! I just had another dose of filler today to turn my corners of my mouth up....not the easiest thing to do even after my lower FL 3 mo. ago. Last month I tried filler in just the upper lip, could hardly tell. Then I had my Neurologist inject Botox in the lower chin area to each side for "sad mouth". You probably know technical name. Then today, I mo. after last filler, my PS put more filler under corners of lower sides of lip, then more filler in upper lip. And he put some in lower lip at corners. I think at 63, it's impossible to turn those lips up. I mentioned the lip lift to my PS...he said, no that's a scar, they don't do that anymore. But I see they do still, I read about it all the time. Good luck. I have to be done. I'm too old for this. Ha!!!

You look fabulous!! Why do we have to have these issues with our lips??? I have had so many fillers & even the fat transfers with my face lift, and my lips suck up everything!!! I have never smoked & still have a thin upper lip:( I have my preop Monday & will see what Dr. Khoobehi is going to do. That baby possum was completely disabled, wrapped up on a bandana. Along with being an RN, I'm a licensed trapper for the state of LA:)

Oh my life, you're a brave woman! I'm just a bout to put photos up of my face lift... there's no way I'd be having stuff done so fast afterwards...I just wouldn't have the guts!!!

It's been 9 months since my lower face & neck lift. I took these pics with no makeup on, in natural light. I am still thrilled with the results!!!

Wow, am I confused and it's a Sunday, my PS office is closed!! I've been doing my research on here. Trying to figure out the differences between Mini Rhytidectomy, which is what is schemed for me in 4 days. I'm not sure his coordinator has got me down for the right procedure. I had my consultation with my PS about 3 weeks ago. He suggested a Face Lift. I think PS versions of Face Lift, Full Face Lift, Mini Lift, which is the Mini Rhytidectomy, Neck Lift, Lower Face Lift have different meanings to each Plastic Surgeon. And frankly it's making me crazy now. And it's coming up real soon!!! Aaaaaaah!!! Somehow I need to see him in person, so I can again tell him what concerns me. He wanted to do a Face Lift...what that means I'm not sure anymore. All I know is I need A, B & C done according to this one PS on line. Or maybe just B and C?? I am very concerned about that tight mouth look. I had a full face lift with endoscopic bow lift at 48. Now at almost 63 I am jowling a bit, but my neck is draped. I don't have one of those mouths that turn turned down. But you are very enlightening when I read your review. I'm going to post photos hopefully today. So much preparing to do yet. And I have an appt. with my primary Dr. Monday for clearance at 2:30!!! Hospitals all set. Everyone is set but me, and I'm not sure he's doing the right procedure. I'm hoping I can see him in person Monday, I know he's there in the office before 11:30am. Then he has surgeries. Sorry I had to voice to someone who is in the profession and knows a little about face surgeries. Just panicking today.

Reading again..I see another goof...I don't have one of those mouths that TURN UP at the corners, actually it turns down!!! Ha ha!! I'm a mess right now, forgive my writing today. I do hate this little window Real Self gives us to type in!!! It makes it so hard to review what you've written!!!

Yes today I did. He wanted to do full face lift at consultation 3 weeks ago. I was concerned about too tight...and too obvious that I had something done. But that mouth of mine, the corners turn down, not pretty. So he's calling it a full face lift. Which is really a neck lift and a lower face lift. With Lipo to neck and transfer of fat to areas. Probably to turn the mouth up more. He's an excellent Plastic surgeon, of course Board Certified. All the good stuff!! He has an office in Manhattan and Great Neck. $12,000 bucks too. Oh boy. 2nd time around for me.

Well, I'm glad you had everything clarified!! Lol!! I have to ask the same question 3 or 4 times. All of these docs have there own way of doing their perfections!! I have places that will have to be revised later on. It's not a perfect science, even though I want my results to be perfect. It seems like I went from acne to wrinkles overnight :(

This pic is 8 months post op neck/ lower facelift. I only have lip gloss on & I love the results. I did have the buccal fat removed 10/4 & a little bit if more lipo along my jawline & neck. I am soooo thrilled!!
