Moderate plus Mentor, got 350cc even though I asked for under 300cc

1 month post

Extremely mild case of symmastia?

$7,500
So I know it may look normal at first glance but it really bothers me!!! Now that my right boob is settling more its starting to look too close together. Hence, why I told my surgeon "nothing over 300" because my chest is so narrow I knew this would happen. The wish Pic I gave him had a clear 1-2 inch space, and with mine there's just two boobs touching and lifting the middle maybe millimeters but it really bothers me and was not the look I wanted.

3 weeks post op. Not looking right.

So I had a breast augmentation when I was 22 in 2010. I Went from 34aa to a Katy Perry look with 425cc HP and they hurt and I just wasn't ready for the change and they were wonky to me (the black and white picture) I got them taken out 3 months after having them in! And went without implants through 4 more children then just got new ones 3 weeks ago and asked for smaller size this time and hoped for something under 300cc. We'll surgeon said "300 looked like nothing and had to do 350cc for it to not be a waste of money". In the consults I explained how the previous surgery left me with wonky boobs with one lower than the other and he said he could fix that. So I assumed that he would reconstruct the left boob's inframammary fold to be higher to match the night's. But the morning of surgery it seemed like he forgot all about it and told me he was going to go in the old scars. So here I am with wonky boobs again!

2 week update

My left is 1 inch lower than right. I just don't think when the right one settles that it will match the left. I just hope that I will like the result at the end of everything. Right now I don't. I need to keep writing until I hit 200 characters to post this.

No offense but the size difference is not going to correct itself. I'm sorry :-(
No offense taken!!! That is exactly what I am saying! Thank you. I just hope at my 1 month follow up they don't gaslight me into saying it's going to take 6 months or more to settle.
I’m dealing with a similar situation at almost 1 year post op, size difference between implants. Be prepared to be told “I don’t see it” and “they’re sisters not twins” etc etc. FINALLY after multiple appointments of talking about a revision my surgeon said we can swap one out or drop my left one since it sits way higher than my right. Stand your ground & don’t take no for an answer. Unfortunately though you’re def going to have to wait until AT LEAST 6 months, if not 10-12 they will say that they’ll still drop and fluff but girl you’ll see minimal change *rolls eyes* best of luck xoxo
Dang. Yeah sounds right. So did you have the revision surgery after how many months? Luckily this surgeons motto is "never settle" so I can say I am not settling with this.
I haven’t gotten the revision yet but I’m hoping to within the next few months. I’m also on mounjaro and am still losing weight so he wanted to wait until I got this last 15-20lbs off before surgery and I’m fine with that anyway bc it gives me more time to save $$ for surgery. Really hoping I’ll only be paying for anesthesia :-(
They are making you pay!?
Yep, At the 2 min appointment when the surgeon saw me today he said everything looks good and ignored what I was showing him and he said they look like they are "evening out" and that I will have to wait 6 months but come back for appointment in 2 months.
Ugh! I knew it. Did he say they’re not twins they’re sisters? I’ve seen a lot of women say they get that response when raising size difference concerns. I don’t know what I’ll be paying yet I’ve asked for the price multiple times for revision just to have an idea and they haven’t given me one yet. I don’t know if they are just purposely putting me off and keep seeing me just to keep easing my mind but I’m stressed about it.
No, never heard the sisters thing... but he doesn't seem to know an answer to what went wrong only that my higher one had a hematoma and they had to go in for another surgery. It might be slowly coming down, I will wait and see.
But now that I'm really looking at my before picture with grid lines overlaying the picture, I have the line under the lower boob then when I follow the line over to the other one I see it is slightly higher! So now I think I am naturally slightly asymmetrical but never knew. So maybe there's nothing they can do, At least I feel better knowing it's just how my body is.
Ugh... they are making you pay?
