I went through with breast reduction surgery...
WORTH IT$6,789
I went through with breast reduction surgery simply because I suffered from neck, upper and lower back pain. After my baby was born in 2015, my breast became larger and the pain worsened. I'm now a 34C and I am pleased with my results. My main concern is the healing and dehisce. I'm only 2 weeks post operation and my wound have already started to separate. Advice on what to do and use would be very helpful. THANKS IN ADVANCE !

Yes, I had mine on the 2, it's scary to look at. I recently started taking vitamin C gummies because it helps with healing faster. Also I use bacitracin and gauze after each shower and I find that the opening in the center is getting smaller everyday. The incision underneath has nearly completely closed over the week.

Just the whole surgery thing, but reading post like this and seeing how many people have done it is making me feel a lot better. I am currently a 34G. I recently lost a lot of weight hoping it would help when it actually made it worst. Now my band is small but my cup is still big. My doctor sent a referral over to the PS and I meet with them for the first time on Monday.

Yea your on the right path, & there's a lot of different stories from different people that will have you in doubt, then many that will motivate you. I encourage you to go through with it. It's life changing as soon as you wake up from the surgery table. I was scared when I thought the opening of my incision wasn't going to heal but it only took two weeks to heal. Now that that's over I can't stay out the mirror and you will feel the exact same way . Lol mark my words girl. It changes you, your frame and attitude.

Thank you so much for taking out the time to tell me all of this. Finding this site was great for me because I get to get information from people that actually went through the process! And two weeks wow! So ho long would you say you were able to get out and get back to your normal life ? Two weeks also? I read somewhere six weeks but I wouldn't want to be out of work that long

No, I was back up and on my feet in like 4 days.. But the total recovery time frame is about six weeks .

Dehiscence
Just over the course of two days, the separation at the meet of my anchor has shrunken significantly!
Get back in with your doctor so that he can keep a close eye on this. Keep the areas clean and dry and free from anything rubbing on them.
The gauze may actually help protect it from the bra rubbing. Change it out often so that it's clean and dry.
