My stringy and saggy neck have bothered me for several years. I considered the weekend face lift but the consultant said I probably wouldn't be happy with the results. So I decided on the lower face lift at Med Surg center. The first 5 days post op were horrible with drains, swelling and considerable discomfort. Dr. Clevens was kind, available by phone and came in on weekend to remove the drains. 5 months post op there is definite improvement but not at the level I expected. My platysmal bands are coming back prominently with some drooping under my chin. For what I paid and for the extent of surgery, I expected better. I've heard Dr. C is great with eyes, noses, face lifts, but I would not recommend him for neck lifts. Office staff is kind and caring.
