Living in Florida has cause my face and chest to become darker and more rough than my stomach. I had several consultations with recomendations ranging from IPL to a 3 time chemical peel after a month of Retin A and hydroquinone use and lastly was suggested to do 2-3 Perfect Derma Peels. Opting for the Derma Peel due to the low risk and lower cost. The peel was applied and with some slight burning which subsided in about 15 minutes. The first night I slept with the chemical on and experienced mild tightness. The second day peeling started but I was able to go to work. Itching and tightness was uncomfortable throughout the peeling process and managed with hydrocortisone cream. Some purple showed under my eyes for 2 weeks after the treatment then subsided. The 6th day I was able to return to work. I am happy with the results and have been told that my skin looks lighter and brighter. I will be going for a 2nd peel in 1.5 months.

The aesthetician was friendly and explained the procedure and aftercare. She applied the peel in a manner that made it feel like i was getting a facial including a massage. I was a little confused because the written and spoken directions were different. I emailed with questions after hours and received a reply the next day. Over all I am happy with my experience and will return.

As for myself and my guy, it was a disastrous. I came back darker (stained looking) and more hyperpigmentation then I have ever had in my life! This was my first time using the Bella Medical Perfect Derma Peel. I followed the protocol using the sunblock every day and the application was easier. Degrease the face and several swipes, leave on, use the packets given and basically, let it do its thing. Just awful, awful. It is 6-7 weeks past the original date of the peel and still no change. The company was contacted and they do NOT want to help and find a solution. Bad business. All I can say for you, is lucky you.

I am in the middle of doing this peel right now. I am in Canada. I am on Day 3 (which is the day the peeling should start, it hasn't yet). But to answer your question, I bought mine at a laser beauty clinic, the aesthetician applies the first layer of the peel, I think it also comes in a folded towlette, as thats what it felt like when she wiped it on my face, neck & decollate. You then take the little box kit home with you and you are to apply the next 2 toilettes yourself over the course of Day 2. For $350 I think its far to expensive considering you are doing the work yourself. Hopefully I see good results for this price, otherwise I should have been given a normal peel for the average price of $150-75.
