It has been 2 months and it is amazing how great I look and feel. I can not believe how quickly things change for the best. I use to hate looking at myself in the mirror and always hid from the camera. Not anymore!!!!! Still some swelling and numbness. I met a great guy that treats me like a queen and tells me every day how pretty I am. I havent heard that since my 20's. After all I went through the last two years this is the best thing that I could have done for my self.

I had a consultation with Dr. Clevens and several of his staff. They were fantastic and answered all my questions. Dr. Clevens took plenty of time to explain to me everything I wanted to know. He specializes in the face so he has his work cut out to fix this face. LOL. All in all I was very happy so far. I have my next appt with the nurse to get all the information, directions and I am guessing lab work on Nov 20. The surgery was on Dec 8th and everything went very well. Dr. Clevens did a wonderful job. He is very professional and caring. His office staff is very good and they are all there to answer questions. At the time of this update I am at 14 days. I will see Dr. Clevens tomorrow. Today - Dec 23rd I am 15 days out and saw Dr. Clevens for a follow up. I got the rest of my staples out and he said everything was healing nicely. I have only one spot with some swelling and a little bruising but overall I hardly bruised at all from the surgery. I am a firm believer that you pay for what you get in the US. Dr. Clevens did a superior job on my face. He specializes in the face and it shows. Everything is healing so nicely and so far at 3 weeks out it does not look like any scaring. I have looked at other FL's where people have used Dr's that do not specialize in the face and there is a big difference in looks, healing and scaring. I had no complications at all in healing. Worth every penny. Also the price included the Laser treatments and facial massages for swelling along with Office visits, surgery and surgery center expenses.

Day 25

I was told that i looked 38 today by someone that had never met me. I was filling out a form where I put my age and she asked to see my ID proving I was 53. Made my day.

As usual I can't remember if you had a brow lift....impossible to review posts in this new format. Your drains on top made me wonder about that cuz you didn't mention that in your initial list. Anyway...you look incredible and it's no wonder they got your age so wrong. Anyone in your family not recognize you :) !?! A new woman for sure.
Yes I had a brow lift and Bleph. My drains were on the side and not to my brow. ;-)

Day 19

The lighting is a little different in several of these pictures. I also have make up on. I am noticing my skin is starting to relax more and seeing some wrinkles coming back. I still have my laser treatments coming up in January so hopefully that will take care of some of them.

I feel great and have more confidence. There is such a difference that I know people know i got a FL so I just tell them instead of them guessing. I finally get to ride my horse tomorrow. Yay.
