What a month and a half!! When u find out u have...
What a month and a half!! When u find out u have melanoma, your life changes instantly..I had it removed right away and the dermatologist recommended DR.O to do the necessary surgery around the site to make sure we had got it all. I was nervous, upset and figured this was gonna go bad but from DAY ONE of meeting DR O, I was impressed, He totally took his time and made me feel like a normal person when explaining every step that we were going to do and also always took the time to do the same for my wife who was so thankful cause she understood all that was happening!! The melanoma was hidden in a tattoo on my back right shoulder and removing a pretty big chunk was going to ruin all that ink work..DR.O always kept thinking and incorporating my tattoo into the surgery, all the while my wife and I were saying Forget the tattoo, cut my back off if u have too, just get it out!!!.Well, two amazing surgeries later, I'm melanoma free and DR.O did save the tattoo!!! This man knows what he is doing, he was great with my three kids, explaining everything to them, to my wife, while I was recovering, explaining...Taking the time to help me with bandage changes on a Saturday evening...who does that???..HE DOES..Nicole, his nurse, was also great...As weird as this is to say, I'm a little sad that I won't be seeing him regularly, That's how great they are!!! I definitely recommend DR.OPPENHEIMER For anything u need, he is a truly gifted surgeon and a genuinely caring person...Thank you DR.O
