Hello Pommy girl, so sorry for the delayed reply. They are extremely expensive and using a finance company to assist isn't really an option. I just keep going round in circles at the moment. Have seen a few more surgeons...i'm sure they're all quite capable. BUT we only have one face. Impressed with Dr Alejandro Lev's work in Costa Rica, altho far from home.

Hi Chrissy. I just checked him out. Saw a lovely review on him but also saw a really really bad brow lift one too (have you seen it?) Please check it out before you do anything further. I went to see Bruce Mutimer in Brighton. Highly recommended by a gp. Apparently he's the current "face guy"!!! He does do a lot of pro bono work in Sri Lanka & Cambodia I believe. Anyway I got a good vibe off him & he was cheaper than others I've seen but still 24K for Full facelift & upper & lower bleph + another $11K for anaesthetic, hospital 1 night etc. etc. :((( WHY is it so [RS bleep]'y here??? Arrrggggg!!!!! Anyway I'm going to visit one more on 15th. If any good I'll let you know. As you say, we've only got the one face ;)

Hi Pommy girl. Yes I did see the bad review on brow lift. Very sad. Id NEVER request or agree to a Coronal brow lift ie slice my head open from ear to ear. Overseas surgery is appealing due to the lower cost and many have great results. The downside is what happens if revision is required? More money more time off work more anxiety :-( Bruce Mutimer seems to be in the same price range as the surgeons I've seen ie Howard Webster, Graeme Southwick (saw his PA). Chris Moss quoted $45,000!!!! and that was a cpl of years ago. My sentiments exactly Pommy girl why the hell is it so expensive here??? Anyhoo, the search continues. Interesting... I'm going to see Webster next week & I was hoping he'd be a little more reasonable. I'd also like to get a breast lift & I love the pics of his work :( Chrissy you might be interested in Allun Kalus at Avenue Plastic Surgery. I saw him last week & he was absolutely lovely. He quoted for mini lift, upper & lower bleph, fat transfer to lips, N/L folds & cheeks (taking fat from belly, added bonus- yay!) 21K all up That's day surgery with rebates from MC & private health ins whatever... He seemed reluctant to address the forehead lines, & I was asking about endo brow. Don't know why. Anyway I just thought you might be interested. I am also researching Thailand. Bangkok & Phuket. Sooo much cheaper but again, as you say, "it's my face"!!! Let's keep in touch. It's great to hear from you! Maybe we can do this together:)

Webster you'll find is very informative and honest. I'v looked into Kallus but haven't pursued a consult, yet. The forehead lines really bother me and theres only so much botox you can have without the eyebrows drooping. Even tho forehead is smooth there is a crease line above each eyebrow. :-( Would be awesome to do it together. Sandy, a fellow member here on realself has recommended Dr Nettle in NSW. Will be looking into him. Definitely keep in touch :-)
