Softening!

Just a quick update to say today when I felt down along my minora suture line it was about 70% softer than yesterday! like extremely noticeably softer I have been putting like pressure along the suture lines and just a really gentle massage with bio oil twice a day and I think it's working! I have some scarring and some unevenness which I really hope just heals on the inwards side of my minora! Anyway thought I'd share that as it's taken a solid 4 weeks for me to notice ANY thinning/ softening around there! Pardon the hideous fake tan colour of everything in today's photos

Hi. I appreciate you're thorough review, it helped me prior to my surgery and still now after. You look great BTW! Just wondering you mentioned doing salt baths, was this Epsom salt? My Dr didn't tell me to do these but I think they would be good. I am a week out and while pain and swelling haven't been too bad I still feel achy or moving a certain way will cause pain and I think the soaks will help with some of the achiness

how does it look from the front now?
I had the same surgery and am wondering how long it would take for the swelling to go down/ if from standing the clitoral hood has gone down for you.
Best of luck! :)

I’m day 8 now and I couldn’t put anything on it yet. How long did it take for you to be able to massage oil in?

Did it all end up healing to what you were wanting?

Hi it did now a few years on and it has healed really well nothing like the photos as it really took 6 months for the swelling and everything to subside right down to normal! I am really happy I would definitely recommend if it's something you really want to do but the recovery was alot more full on then I had thought it would be! Good luck x

Not changes like I had hoped but everything this week is softening I can see two little remaining bits of internal stitches on either side so I'm hoping there is still swelling due to internals ... wishful thinking! One side is predominantly larger than the other hoping this evens out soon or at all!!!! My clit doesn't look the same that whole area doesn't :s my clit used to be very exposed naturally which I actually liked the look and well sensation was great but not it seems to be hidden does this mean it actually all still is swollen on has the skin been pulled over my clit for good!!?? I don't tuck in at all like I wanted and now that things are softening it's making me more sure I'm close to the final result and still unhappy with it :( Ahhhh anyway here is some more poor quality and still pretty scary looking photos for the day :)

Hi I had my surgery yesterday and feeling sore below they said that you can still have swelling 3-6 months later so hopefully you will feel happier with the result

Hi there sorry for the late reply how are you healing hopefully your not in much pain by today! Thank u for your comment I know they say 3-6 months but a lot of doctors on here also say you pretty much see your result final result by the 6-8 week mark so I'm wishing for a bit of a miracle change in the next 2 weeks lol but from day 1 I could see that although there was swelling I still had excess skin protruding from my majora especially at the lower end but think il just do a further revision in 6 months I guess it's better to have too much then too little for correction! Best of luck with your healing x

Hi im on recovery day 10 its been my most comfortable day today but i feel a little like you i can see skin on the outside and i would like it to be at least level with the outer lips or tucked in i hope i dont need revision surgery because im in the uk and the surgery is very expensive :(

Oh congratulations I must say it gets sooo much easier from day 10 on wards! If your still swollen keep up ibuprofen to the max everyday for another few weeks it helped me a lot even after the 2 week mark! What type of technique did u have if u don't mind me asking trim with laser trim with scissors or wedge? Aw I really hope it works out as planned for you and it really could just be swelling and the internal stitches stay positive! I know that sounds silly coming from me as all my posts are very negative regarding my desired look but unfortunately it's a waiting game too! Keep me updated on our recovery- Best of luck x
