Everything's coming along well I think. No discomfort at all. I think because the swelling has gone down the suture lines and bumps are more noticeable, which I hope will improve. One thing is worrying me a little and that's a small white bump on one side of my clitoral hood. It almost looks like a pimple but it's a longish shape- maybe a stitch that hasn't dissolved? Has anyone had anything like this before?

Did you let any family or friends know you had the surgery? I'm really considering getting it done because I have waned to for years but I'm to embarrassed to let anyone know. What are your thoughts?
I am 11 days post surgery. I told a relative and only cause she’s living with me. No one else knows. I have managed to get away with it.
If you love with people it will be hard because you have to ice a lot the first week. You could chat to the surgeon and come up with an excuse. I was going to tell her that I had to get a lump cut out and all was fine but it had grown and was uncomfortable. Not really a lie. It’s no one’s business. I am SO happy I did it. I wanted to for years and was like you. Embarrassed. The hardest part for me was making the first call. After that every part was easier and easier. I decided to do it and had it done within 2 weeks.

Here's a photo of how it's coming along! I think most of the stitches have dissolved. Still feels a bit hard and swollen around the clitoris and on the edges. I can't wait for everything to smooth out more, but so far I am really happy with the results. Such an improvement from what it was like before!
I'm a little shiny in the photo from paw paw ointment which has really helped the healing I think.

Looks amazing! This is exactly the look I was hoping to achieve, you're lucky!
Thank you, it's better than I'd hoped for considering the before.
You are healing so well and your swelling has improved a lot. Congrats! I'm sure you are so happy.
Thankyou, I am :)
Looks amazing! Are you using coconut oil for healing the scars?
Thank you! I haven't used coconut oil, only paw paw ointment once a day in the morning when I can remember.
WOW!
Looks fantastic!!

Two weeks
Haven't updated in a few days but things are gradually improving. Swelling has gone down even more so, though along the sutures it's still quite hard and somewhat bubbly looking. I think a fair few of my stitches have fallen out, there are a few that are hanging out of the skin a centimetre or so (I've actually sat the wrong way a couple of times and pulled them slightly, sharpest pain ever!). Hopefully more swelling will go down once all the stitches have dissolved! I'm liking the way it's looking so far.
I also started my period a couple of days ago, and geez it's annoying having to wear pads, especially while healing.
Will update again with a photo in a few more days!

How are you feeling? I hope things have improved with the swelling and the stitches are less annoying. And I know what you mean about about pads. I started my period the day of or after surgery and things just flowed way too easily since my big lips weren't in the way! Yuck! But I was okay to use tampons during the next period. I just had to be a bit gentle, but it was okay. Hopefully you'll feel alright during the next one for tampons. Happy healing...
