Brca1+ Prophylactic Bilateral Mastectomy with Diep Flap Reconstruction

Surgery is booked in for May 2016, after meeting with multiple surgeons. Dean came highly recommended by not only his patients but also another top (expensive) plastic surgeon. I've been extremely happy with my care I'm scared but very much looking forward to not getting breast cancer like other women in my family. I met other surgeons that did not show as much care and understanding as Dean and Bruce.

Strong family history of both breast and ovarian cancer testing positive for brca1 mutation. I now feel so much relief after surgery and I'm both surprised and happy with how well my results have turned out. I was able to keep my nipples and my new breasts look natural and fuller then my original breasts with the added bonus of a flat tummy. Extremely happy with Dean's work and would recommend him to anyone in my position. It's only 4 weeks since surgery I'm looking forward to how they will look as the weeks pass. posting process pictures in the near future.

I'm two days from revision and amazed at Dean's work yet again. I'm very bruised and in some pain but happy my breast look better then my original breasts without the risk of the breast cancer so many women in my family have experienced. I was told that Dean is a perfectionist before having my first surgery and I am extremely happy he is.
