In May 2015 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer for the second time. My left breast had to come off but i chose a double mastectomy to avoid this path again. I was delighted to learn i would wake with a partial reconstruction done simultaneously, the conclusion to occur following chemo. I couldn't be happier with the result. My breast surgeon recommended the plastic surgeon to conduct this procedure and his skill has allowed me to feel incredibly normal, my breasts are a perfect shape and the size is apt for my body, and pain and inconvenience has been minimal. I consider him my Rockstar.

Dr Grinsell was incredibly professional and skilled at his work. He was knowledgeable and experienced and this allowed me to feel safe - this wasn't an easy experience to face, a 41 year old losing her breasts, but Dr Grinsell had it under control and I trusted him unreservedly. He was calm, he had vision - i could almost see him create my breasts in his mind as he assessed my chest. But what i felt most was his passion to perform well, to be the best he could be and achieve the best results he could, and i think that is what i loved the most. And he did - my breasts are fantastic!
