I had lost some weight and was noticing my arms...
I had lost some weight and was noticing my arms more, but even before this I realised that I had always been unhappy with how my arms looked. Every summer I would get frustrated feeling that I couldn't wear sleeveless clothes, and endless shopping trying to find three quarter length summer gear!
Finally I decided I wanted to do something about it and although I was a bit anxious about having a procedure I thought I would just go and have a consultation with Howard Webster to see what was involved, then I could decide.
I made a few notes with questions and took these with me to the consultation. Howard was not rushed in the consultation, he explained everything clearly, gave me all the information I needed and answered all my questions. He also showed me several before and after pictures which were helpful.
He also mentioned that some of the costs of the procedure could be claimed on my health insurance which was a bonus.
I decided relatively quickly that I would go ahead and booked in.
From that day to now (2 months post operation) I felt very supported by Howard and his team of professionals.
The pre operation organisation went well, I knew exactly what to do and when and was informed well ahead of time of requirements. The day came and the all went well with Howard checking in pre and post operation.
The only odd thing that happened was that one of the nurses at the clinic said some really strange things to me in the night, but then maybe that was me coming out of the anaesthetic!
I am very happy with the outcome, Howard told me it will be journey and it is. I have had to deal with some discomfort of course and the scars will take some time to reduce, but they are perfectly positioned so I feel confident that when summer comes around I will be wearing sleeveless clothes every day!
