I’ve stalled a bit

Currently sitting at 90kg. Haven’t moved much for about a month. Bad habits are coming back but luckily I can’t each too much. Have lost a little hair but not a lot.
Feeling good overall. Best decision ever

One week post op

Sorry I haven't updated for a while. I started at 120kg (264lbs). After the Optislim diet I was 115 (253lbs). Now one week after surgery I'm 112kg (246lbs). Surgery was pretty straightforward. Took about two hours to wake up. No pain due to drugs. Napped on and off most of the day. Have five incisions on my guts. Dressings still haven't come off so not sure how big they are.  I was pretty lucky and got no gas pain in the shoulders. Fair bit of pain in the stomach but good drugs help.  Passed urine within 24 hours but didn't have a bowel movement for about four days. Ate lots of jelly, broth and protein drinks plus lots of water/ice.  Went home after two nights/three days. Got panadene/codeine and an anti-inflammatory to take home.  Now home it's pretty straight forward jelly, protein and broth. Pain is very tolerable and dressings still on. All good so far. Very happy

Getting more excited

Not long to go now. Preop diet sucks but I've lost 5kg (11lbs) on the diet. Thought about it the other day and it's been well over 12 years since I've been under 100kg (220lbs). Still a little scared and a little excited about surgery. Have told most people at work and they all have lots of questions. Going to post about the surgery on Facebook just prior to going into hospital so all my friends know.
