So yesterday afternoon I had my full tummy tuck and liposuction at the cosmetic Institute Berwick with Dr Simon ?rosenbaum? .
I have two children and had really saggy skin , muscle separation and two hernias .
I had back pain from the muscles separating and the hernias were becoming an issue so I started looking at getting things fixed , the price was set me back with most surgern being between 17k-22k . I considered Thailand but was just to worried about things going wrong and I hate hospitals so the thought of a week in one was to much for me .
Finally I decided on going through Simon at the Me clinic , yes I read the bad reviews about the me clinic interstate but I felt very safe with Dr rosenbaum? , his pictures and Lipo skills pushed me to go with him and I’m glad I did .
I become pretty nervous as I arrived but all the staff were so lovely and shared there own story’s no questions were off limits with anyone from me clinic or the cosmetic Institute . As soon I spoke and got marked up my Dr rosenbaum? and spoke to Dr Cox( my aenithasist ) I felt at ease,Even when I was getting put to sleep by Dr Cox Simon was rubbing my back telling me he will look after me .

Before I new it I was waking up with nurses not leaving my side and everyone making sure I was fine .
I was watched for a few hours till my partner came to get me , to my surprise no pain at all .
You get sent home in a pretty full on compression suit that has the crutch cut out for the toilet , I also had a drainage tube in . I pretty much wanted to sleep but thought it was a good idea to get myself up and empty my tube myself . Suddenly I felt unwell and my partner come in time to catch me fainting. Note to everyone even if you don’t have pain don’t push yourself !
He took me back to bed and once I was laying with my legs up I was fine again .
This morning I woke up hungry and still pain free besides a little discomfort on my sides and back I think from my liposuction. I had breakfast and my antibiotics and pain killers and something to help with bruising .
I’m on antibiotics and the balls for bruising four times a day , I’ve been taking one pain killer every five hours just in case .
I had my post op appointment at 1230 today all was fine on the way there (we live about 40 minutes away) but once there I felt unwell again and ended up fainting again . Up on a bed again and I was fine again .
They took off my compression suit and the foam around me , tape and cleaned everything up for me . I was surprised to take a look and see how good it looked already ! I’m very swollen and really bruised on my back from liposuction but still not really pain and I can imagine how good my result will be .
I’ve got fingers and toes crossed my pain stays the same and everything keeps going so well .
I’ll post again in a few days and let you know how everything is going

Simon Rosenbaum’s Ahpra registration status SUSPENDED
• Simon Rosenbaum's Ahpra registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia is currently suspended.

Ahpra maintains a register of practitioners who hold current registration with the Medical Board of Australia. There register can be searched for free by visiting
https://www.ahpra.gov.au/Registration/Registers-of-Practitioners.aspx

In Australia, medical practitioners (medical doctors and surgeons) are required to be registered with the Medical Board of Australia and Ahpra.

It is this registration of health practitioners that enables the Board to maintain professional standards and helps ensure the public are kept safe from people who pretend to be a registered health practitioner when they are not.

What does it mean if someone's Ahpra registration is suspended?
Under section 207 of the National Law (Qld), this means that a practitioner, whose registration has been cancelled or suspended, is automatically banned from practising in all other Australian states and territories, and they are taken to be not registered with Ahpra and the Board.
