Melanage Cream Was Not Worth It

$115
I used the melanage skin lightening cream as it was recommended at the place where I get Botox. Note, I did not do the peel, just the cream. The cream is meant to both make your skin peel but also bleach brown spots on your skin. It does both of those things. From the moment I started the cream my skin peeled off and did not stop peeling until about a week after I stopped using it. This was annoying but my moles and freckles were fading so I decided to suck it up and keep using the cream. Unfortunately, I eventually noticed some areas of my skin were starting to look gray. I used this cream for about 2 months and it did bleach my sun spots as well as my freckles and small face mole. HOWEVER we just went on vacation. I wore spf 70 on my face and unfortunately the spots that I worked so hard to bleach came right back. Not sure that this was worth the time; money, and inconvenience but my skin does look a little younger now.

I did a similar regime, then vacationed in the Caribbean. I wore SPF 50 sunscreen, a hat to protect my face. I did reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. My face stayed clear.
