Hmm as excited i was for MY hair transplant then, even more excited i am now to write in here, as i have got useful info from this website, thx2 evryone for that..so lots of ppl are online and watching thousands of ads for fue hair transplant in turkey for 1700 euros by medical park or cosmedica ..wowo..sounds amazing..the truth is:

I have booked my surgery 10 days back in there, when i reached it seems like fish market of ppl wants to do hair transplant ..one after another(3 TO 4 PERSONs) in 1 day, THEY SAY EVERYONE ITS 3000 TO 3500 GRAFTS..funny..haha...whatevr they mention on website is not true firstly doctor is as good as consultant, thats it, rest all is done by stuff they seem good but don't know till the result are seen, Nobody comes to airport to pick you up, then they have this excuse that we got confused cos of dates, it almost happens to everyone as all the patents stays at same hotel, secondly (nobody)none of the people in f**in whole medical park speaks English except doctor which you meet for 10min and then he is gone like a wind and of-course he has taken money, all women stuff is their who never are quiet, their mobiles are ringing on the surgery table while the procedure is going on & they are picking the phone as well, poor patient is thinking what d f***, so i have to ask everything ok?? big laughter comes says..okey...back to cutting me, slamming the door atlest 50 times is normal, operation room is so small that they would have done it in a coffin instead, so if a patient dies they just have to carry the coffin outside..LOL .. miss communication is d best experience as few words of english nurses speak and then they just laugh.

no discussion of how the procedure is done , what precaution should be taken, nuthing is told, i was about to faint when i got my first anesthesia as i had breakfast in the morning and my surgery starts at 3pm, nobody knew what to do, until i asked them for sugar or some candy...omg i was so disappointed by lack of professionalism, its such a big hospital but shame that from stuff to reception no one knows where hair transplant is done, or who is doctor Levant Acar is, i actually have slept on lobby the first nite as no one came to pick me up, no one picked my phone as well, AND ITS NOT ME WHO SUFFERED FROM THIS , ITS MOST Of THE PATIENTS, MORNING I HAVE OPERATION AND EVENING BEFORE I AM SLEEPING IN THE LOBBY ON TH FLOOR, no food... HOTEL IS THE BEST WHERE THEY KEEP YOU AFTER.

I am wondering how many ppl need to get their hair transplant as its such a emotional journey for a patient and these guys treats like money blenders 5 hours tiring job. Not acceptable..I wanna write so many things but i wanna concentrate on positivity of my hair procedure...don't know whether they do prp or not as they mention...too all ppl in concern ...spend some money go to professional surgeon who does your surgery, you should be single patient in the clinic , so you get full attention, nobody is selling you shampoo, creams , medicine etc for post operation care..which you are already paying for....... or pay less and except what i expected as website shows different reality...choose wisely guys

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us, you are most certainly correct, research before any procedure is key! Sorry you had an uncomfortable experience but I am glad you are focusing on the positive aspects of your journey. Are you taking progress photos, if so, are you comfortable sharing some with us?

Absolutely same has happened to me as well..don't know what to except now as my surgery is done, hope everything comes out fine for you and me..one thing i wanna ask did they told you anything about how to remove or take care of scabs or they just gave you few instruction paper? as this is my 1st week i still have feel week, it is normal? is their any one to help me to answer these questions , How long it takes to get over the numbness? Is it important to use antiseptic or water every 3 -4 hours as my surgeon has not said that, what extra precaution to be taken for first 10 days ? as medical park instructed to put body lotion(seb manm company which is really mild) for 45min before hair wash also when i do shampoo after lotion , the lotion is not fully removed as it gets in their, maybe to keep scalp moist or something else can happen...KINDLY HELP IF SOME ONE CAN AS DINT HAVE THAT MUCH MONEY SO DID IT FOR CHEAPER PRICE N SURE CHEAPER RETURNS.

Hi How did your procedure turn out in the end?
July 26, 2014
Hi, I read your review after the procedure. I just did my FUE in the same center 2 days back, and would like to share my experience. for me and three more patients did the surgery in the same day, we did not face any problems with the transportation and organization. Every thing were arranged properly and on time, except an incidence were the driver droped us on the opposite building (same hotel brand). So, I believe that they are honest and reasonable. Although, we faced some difficulties communicating with most of the staff ( which is the same in all Hospital here) but the Doctor speaks Eglish and German very well. Dr.Acar and the staff were professional and respectful. I believe that the communication part is not center specific, it's all over Turkey. The team is skillful, and offcourse, it's team work and don't expect that the physician will do the procedure from A to Z. ( it is the norm all over the world ). When I had questions, they answer, and pause if no translator. I asked or the physician and he came shortly. They don't have the lexuries and decorations as other places, which have nothing to do with the results itself, so why bother.( you can travel from place to another either with first class or coach. The most important aspect is the safety records for the airlines, isn't it). Anyways, the place was nice in an accredited hospital with good hygiene. The procedure went OK. I believe there was no actual graft count, it was an estimate. Anyhow, I liked the Idea of covering as much possible as they can do in one session; depending on the donar availability and recipient areas. Second day, they were on time for the first hair wash and gave us the instructions verbal and written. And it is optional to have all the prescription and supply from them, so it was my choice. As for results, still waiting and hoping the best. I disagree with your review( to hard), but totally respect it. Nothing is perfect, but could raise these issues with them and give them your feedback. My advice for others considering FUE, Be realistic, and look for objective things... skills, records ..volume ....experience. .... and outcomes. ..all adds. Indeed, I highly recommend this center as it is the best value for money. High volume is an advantage. Finally, thank them to keep it affordable for most people, and not like other greedy centers with astronomical figures.

Hi,ive booked my flight with dr acar, feeling so nervous, did you get any aftercare stuff to take home or did you have to buy it?,hope its still growing well
July 27, 2014

I am happy for you ex fue but work professlism is also something to look forward too, everyone knows you fly on any class you cant make everyone happy for sure but from 10person if 7 people are disappointed or unhappy with the procedure or service then its a alarm for disaster, every hospital or airlines bound to give safty first then only someone will even think to book, mind you results comes 1year later as they don't show you any before pics neither they have pics on their website instead they have pics of hotel where patient stays..i have nothing against them its just they have to learn manners and efficiency of facilities they mention on their website or email and how come so many reviews for them in here are against them, i guess it says it all ?? read my article again...

My Great FUE Hair Transplant Result and Experience with Dr Acar, Cosmedica, Turkey''

Hey all and everyone,
This is me, back on my update, after 7 months of my procedure, cannot be happier, do see my pics as I am shocked too, the results are great! I got great respect for them now. True, my first impression regarding the center was not positive at all BUT now I am the happier, cheerful person standing.
I know I was little harsh on my comment as I had shaved my head ,entering into different reality , was really emotional.
So I would like to share my story from the start till the end.
Firstly the price, all incl is best and cheap, no second thought about it, with results like mine, I will not recommend anyone anywhere else then this center now as they all charge heavy amount, as I have myself taken loan for this, ,which is worth every penny, my life is back on track ,yes it has changed for good.
I was hating myself so much in front of the mirror before the procedure. As the procedure requires a lot of time and money and i was expecting a miracle to happen, I cannot go to barber shop anymore as I had almost no hair left, yes I was bold, so I searched a lot before to sign in for the procedure with Dr acar and team, they reply and handle email, phone, even whts app really well,
My friend has gone their and his results are crazier then mine and its just 5 months , wait and watch after 1year, omg im so thrilled about my friend as well as he went their and everything was organized perfectly.
He says,
As I contacted medical park, Doc checked my pictures online and then he quoted me with the genuine price, also he sent me few patient before and after pics to check. I decided for the operation and driver phone number was exchanged at the date which I wanted….big thanks for that guys.
So I organized my appointment and flew to istanbul airport, it was crowded ,but driver was just their in the corner with my name on his hand, I liked it…really nice hotel to stay , next day after the breakfast, me and doctor met at the hospital which is big and clean, dr acar speaks really good English so he explained me about Fue and how its done and by marking forehead for natural hairline, which we decided together, all this was very important things for me. blood test was the next thing done, my other concern was pain which I was scared of but after 3-4 injection and 2 min approx, its all in the good hands, no pain at all and it was really very comfortable journey. Hair transplant took 7hours for 3000 grafts which I am thankful to the team.
Now, I am watching my results growing everyday, it feels amazing and I am thankful to everyone in the centre, special thanks to Dr acar, I wish him best of luck , and to cure lots of patient like me….its really pleased to stay in here.

Hi there congratulations on your hair transplant results, I'm just a little confused, in your first posting you said there was no one there to pick you up from the airport ,but now you say you were picked up . Can you clarify this point please

He s talking about his friend s experience on the second post....who was picked up at the airport. Most hospitals offers pick up services in Turkey but as they are very busy ( for a reason, most hair transplantations in istanbul a amazingly good and the price unbeatable compared to the quality and numbers of grafts). So I was saying that they are so busy it happens that some customers can t be picked up as the driver is bringing other patients at the hospital. Sincerely, regardless to the hospital chosen, I would definetely recommend istanbul for hair transplant. I personally chose "transest" and I am as satisfied as 19hero here.

I just had my rue with dr Emre Ali Karadenez at AEK clinic he did 95 percentage of the work spoke perfect English and to be honest I cannot find fault with anything that happened from beginning to end great treatment remember members it is onl as good has the hands you put yourself so in what would you prefer to be in the hands of a man who is a registered doctor years of training or the hands of a group of technitions not saying that techs can't be good but my choice was the Dr and from my research most of these clinics in Istanbul have techs doing the work also several patients a day not joking you see loads of patients walking around town bandaged up quite amazing my Dr only does one patient a day that makes a big difference to the treatment I believe would you prefer to eat a battery farmed chicken or free range just an analogy

I had my transplant done at Cosmedica on 22 March 2016 and I would not recommend Cosmedica.
I was initially told (by Dr. Acar) that I would need about 4,000 grafts. Two days after the transplant, when I went for the check up, Dr. Cinik, told that they transplanted only 3,000 grafts. He said I did not need more and when I asked he said that I still had 2,000-3,000 follicles left in the donor area in case I needed a second transplant but that due to my age (48) that was unlikely.

A few days ago I send photos of my head to Dr Acar expressing my concern that the transplanted area does not look dense enough by comparison to the sides, and asking whether this is likely to improve with time or whether it will remain like this.
If it is going to remain like this I am unhappy that they did not transplant the 4,000 grafts initially discussed.
Dr Acar then replied saying that 3,000 grafts is what we initially discussed (which is untrue); and that I did not have more hairs in the donor area to transplant more than 3,000 (which contradicts what Dr Cinik told me two days after the transplant).
And to date I have not been told whether the recipient area (top of my head) will get any denser or whether it will remain as it is at present.
Accordingly I am not feeling very positive and I am not happy with the treatment received (or at least with the lack of communication to date).

I read this guys posts before I had it done and his accounts are very human,, I have to say I did giggle because he changed his view 7months later and his hair looks great! If it does not go perfectly then you are upset and annoyed plus already abit self conscious because your head has been operated on. Also I think this review and a comment on this page are the only bad ones I have seen but tbh havnt looked for bad reviews so more could be out there. I went to Cosmedica as well and they were great for me throughout the whole trip.. I am only 2months post op since my forehead and crown FUE transplant (prp) method, but will be adding all my views, pictures, cost etc at around 4/5month mark. good luck to anyone doing it and i say why let your hair get worse when you can have it done and let it get better?
