A few stitches under the surface are still a little bit irritated and bumpy but nothing at all bad. He definitely hid the scar very well, even my facialist stared at me but could not tell what I had done, but asked me if I had gotten a little facelift, lol. In these pictures I did have a little filler to bottom lip only just to smooth it out

Ps. Going to get a tiny bit of filler next week in top lip just to smooth out the wrinkles a little

You are really looking great! I am on day 2 of recovery from lip lift and can't sleep because of swelling so I'm reading all the reviews to see when people felt better. Hopefully I see improvement tomorrow. I'm sure you're thrilled with your result-hope I am too!

The swelling goes down slowly. I'd say day 5 it was certainly bearable but everyone is different. It's definitely worth it. I like the fact that you just flat out look more youthful without looking different. My sister said I just look like I used to. Lol

Good to hear! It's interesting that more people don't know about the lip lift. I had no idea it was even a thing until I saw a review on this site a year ago. It really does make a nice improvement!

Surgeons
I wanted to make a comment regarding the necessity of researching your surgeon. Someone commented that the price of this procedure should come down because it isn't that difficult; I respectfully and firmly disagree. If you mess up a quarter of an inch or slightly at an angle on a breast augmentation incision it's no biggie, mess up up even an eighth of an inch on this procedure and someone's face and entire look is altered.
